What said makes no sense in a way that : 1) There should not necessarely be a single clear definition of what we call arab or not. There may be different definitions . For example there are some well known English dictionaries that defines arabs as arabic speakers. 2) The naming is not necessarely based on a specific identity, the identities can vary depending on what do we mean by it, wether personal not. 3) There is no dna that has naturally "arab" nor "berber" written in it. They are all just nouns created by human beings. 4) The definition of origin of people or the origin of anything philosophically makes no sense, because every origin has an origin, it only depends on from when we started. 5) The history is never a 100% true science in a way that we weren't alive hundreds or thousands of years ago to check the validity of what said. And last but not least : You can call yourself whatever you want, and don't be mad wether others call you by a name that you don't like, if it is not an insult, it is fine, everyone has his own opinion, and it is not a way to oppress your believed identity, as if your identity is weak and can easily be gone by other people's opinions. Call yourself whatever you want, and call others without bad intention whatever you want, and just in discussions set the definition you gave and based on what, wether it is personal or not personal, variable or constant, and consider the varieties of the definitions that can be, and when talking about history set the ressources you know, and don't assume that only one possible answer is true although it might be acceptable by most of scientists.

Not sure what she experienced but here is thing: No one north of the Arabian peninsular and no one in North Africa is ethnically an Arab. I am not one of those embittered Maghrebi diasporans who h_te the guts of Arabs after learning the pan-arab ideology their parents tought them is a lie. None of us are genetically related to Khalejis. I am a Moroccan and although I have Rifian heritage, I don't have a specific tribal belonging since I never grew up in that environment.
