Are motorcycles BETTER than cars? BEST daily!?

Hey all!
In todays motovlog, i will discuss the difference between a motorcycle and a car when it comes to commuting and daily riding in the hope it may help some of you who are maybe are thinking of switching or fancy jumping out of 4 wheels onto 2!

For me the zen factor gravitates to the bike whenever possible.....my wife has her meditation space in our house, and mine is sitting on 2 wheels....I always arrive at work in a good mood on the bike, and in the car it is definitely hit and miss.....the issue I have is that, in Canada, we face 3 months every year where riding is not possible due to the quantity of snow and ice on the road.

I think 3 months isn’t so bad, especially when you get snow. I’d love to have thick snow every year instead of the weather we have in the UK. But totally agree with you!

I think it's weather dependent. If it's raining, many will choose the car... I've noticed that many UK riders are fair weather riders... If you have 1 bike, it takes the fun away riding it all year round.. If you're fortunate to have 2, a daily and a summer weekend toy, I'd choose a bike all day long.. I had an S1000r last year, but I never wanted to ride it in anything but the sun... Just the thought of having to clean it if I rode it in the rain was enough to deter me. I have just sold my xsr900 to fund either a tuono1100 or zh2 se, I'm also looking to pick a 2nd bike up to use for touring/commuting... something you're not fussed about getting wet etc if you know what I mean? I think riding in the rain and all gear round betters your confidence and experience. As for the car, I've found that since passing my test, I drive less n less each year.

I do agree it helps with confidence and also if you don’t mind the rain it doesn’t stop the fun. Good luck in whatever bike you choose!
