Pastor Tiff, I was supposed to die over 45+ years ago. I'm 60 and still going. I have lived my life for Jesus as long as I can remember. I can not watch certain preachers on TV. They only want money. They say give them money and you will be blessed. I have news for them. I don't have to fatten their wallets in order to get a healing or to be blessed. There's one that when he gets angry, he looks like the devil himself. It's very scary looking. You probably know who I'm talking about. His initials are K.C. Be very careful who you watch. They are wolves in sheep's clothing. I pray for their congregation. Tiff, I prayed with you today. I am 74 years young. I was saved at an early age. My life was such a tumultuous mess of foster homes. As I grew older my life became of this world. I came back to Gods calling, but I still continued in some of the bad ways. Now for the last decade Ive reconnected with God, but the question still lingered whether or not I was actually saved. After praying with you today and rededicating my life to live for my Lord and Savior with sincerity in my heart and soul, I feel more at peace now that I face going home to meet Jesus. I want to thank you Pastor Tiff. I only discovered your channel today and already you have given me answers to some of my greatest struggles as a Christian man. I gave my life to Our Lord Jesus properly when I was just 9 years old which I feel very blessed for and am now 51 years old, but also It can feel like a curse at times due to this very teaching you are teaching. Although I hate to and do not want to sin, It seems like an impossible task not to even though I dont want to. It is a conundrum that is difficult to understand but I know that God loves me and I have felt his love in incredible ways, so deep down I know that he forgives me over and over but only because of the great conviction I feel after realising I have sinned. ​@@jaypatterson8117 how in the world can you be so ignorant? Jesus said it is finished because His death and resurrection was the final sacrifice for our sins. That's it. It doesn't say He paid for our future sins. He's the mediator and the high priest. Why do you think the temple veil was torn in half when he died? It was because earthly priests and sacrifices were no longer needed or acceptable to God. Once we're born again He cleanses our sins, and gives us the Holy Spirit that convicts us when we stumble and mess up. So we do have to confess our sin, and pray because we certainly can't abuse His grace. Paul said "should we keep sinning even when His grace abounds? God forbid!" Romans 6:1-2. How you gonna read the same chapter and pretend those 2 verses don't mean anything?

Question: where were we when Jesus Christ died on the cross? The obvious answer is that we weren’t born yet. So is that future sin? Yes, clearly. Is that biblical? Yes, clearly. Our salvation as believers is guaranteed through Christ act of sacrifice not ours. In Hebrews when the scripture speaks of confession that was for unbelievers or none Christians. Question: How does a person get saved? Ans: Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is lord, not your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the once and for all forgiveness of your sin. Just as Adam sinned once and entire world sinned, similarly Jesus Christ blood sacrificed is done once for the world to be saved by him if they accept him. Context matters and I pray minister as you study this the Holy Spirit will reveal same to you so you can continue teaching us this sayeth the lord. Much love my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.

What I love about 1 John 1: 6--10, it shows that Christians will sometimes miss the mark. We shouldn't willfully sin. We are not sinless, but we should be sinning less (we do not practice sin) as we grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit, who is greater than our conscience, will let us know when we have sinned, and will point us to repentance. But when we do sin, we should remember that Jesus is faithful to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Notice, John is speaking to those who are believers...those in the Body of Christ. And after repenting, we should ask the Holy Spirit to help us to overcome that specific sin, and trust Him to help us to past that test.

Aren't we under the Gospel of grace that Jesus gave to Paul. I've always believed we are forgiven of our sins past, present and future by the finished work of the cross. His grace is not to be taken for granted. I hate being weak to sin. I'm not a good example of a Christian, nor do I pretend to be. Just weak to the sins that have power over me. I wish I could make them disappear.

All our past present and future sins we're all paid for on the cross. Jesus died for our sins before we were ever born. We are saved from the penalty of sin when we trust in Christ alone. Saved believers confess their sins to stay in fellowship with the Lord. Not to get saved or stay saved but to stay in fellowship. Once we are saved we are kept saved by his power. We cannot ever lose our salvation

Show me a passage in the Bible where it says the best motivation for fleeing sin (as a Christian ) is knowing I will be unforgiven if I sin. The motivation to live Holy is that we have been forgiven and given a new nature - not that we are afraid God will unforgive us
