Please be more creative about the titles. The term " is it worth watching" is very degrading and is used repeatedly. I have faith in you to come up with different titles.

I watched Umro Ayyar in Perth, Australia. It was a 9 pm show on Sunday. Film got 4 shows in total from Sunday to Wednesday at 9 pm, which was disappointing as no one usually watch a movie that late on weekdays here. Cinema had 15 people in total and some Indians as well ( they were trolling the movie throughout). Movie was long, had so much non sense talk time and not a gripping story overall. Usman lacked the charm/appearence of a central character. There was not enough meat to the story apart from good VFX. I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I have read all Umro Ayyar stories and there wasn't much for me to relate the OG stories with this movie. 😢 In a nutshell, I am displeased.

I watched UA in Australia, and I was really excited about it, but they sadly didn't have enough meat in the story. They were talking too much, ppl behind me also said 'itni dair me to banda khud ja ke lar le'. If it was shorter it would be a lot better. Not to forget that the emotional scenes felt very forced. I really liked the VFX and the acting, everyone fit well in their characters. But I do hope that they had taken a story from one of Umro ayyar's adventures and went with it. The entire highlight of the movie for me was the cameo of hamza, and i kind of wished that the squeal has hamza in the main cast😂. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one, cuz everyone seems to think that the film is great.

I only like the antagonists "laqa n his gang" in umro ayyar. The story wasn't good enough for me ,though vfx are up to the mark. I wish the director had more wide frames like "kamli" had great frames .

Or any other OTT platform where I can rent or buy a good print (of other Pakistani movies as well) I wanna watch so many good ones but I don’t know where to watch them. Indian movies come out later on OTT platforms like Netflix and Prime, why can’t we do the same???

So I finally watched Umrao Ayyar and I loved it! I felt so proud that this is Made In Pakistan ♥️😎 My (over critical Netflix and American movies watching) kids enjoyed it too 🥰 Visual Effects and Acting was perfect! Keeps you hooked and entertained the whole time with some exciting turns n twists. I felt the ending was a little underwhelming though! And lovedddddd Hamza’s cameo❤ And now off to SH’s review. Let’s see if we are on the same page 😅

Agreed with Aamna! Sanam, Ali Kazmi and the third actor (Sorry I don’t know his name) they looked so perfect! Their costumes and whole look was on point. Usman Mukhtar after becoming Ayyar… should have lost some weight be more toned, better hair and costume. It could’ve been more impactful 🤭😁 Can’t wait for more parts!

I completely disagree with the review on umro ayyar. When i was going to watch the movie I had huge expectations but sadly it was a disappointing one. It had the worst screenplay ever written in the history of cinema. A really boring movie. I was constantly looking for a moment that can glue me to the screen or build my interest but sorry to say it never happened, I wanted to not be disappointed but it did. There was no thrill, no sense of impending doom in the climax, Nothing. All the performances were very poor except for faran tahir, he was the only saving grace of this movie. An impactful performance. Usman mukhtar was too lazy in the movie. His performance was just a flat line. Ali kazmi was okay, manzar saab was just okay, not impressed. Sanam saeed was also poor. And sana was the worst villain I have ever seen (she was walking like a zombie and blowing dust everywhere in the movie and nothing else). The final battle between the two groups was also boring (the baahubali type one). They could've done better fight choreography. Only ali kazmi looked like a ayyar except everyone else. The goods in the movie : The story and concept was good (but they were unable to make it to the big screen) . The VFX was top notch, no doubt about it. Hats off. Cameo was also impactful. And the villain of course was the only best thing in the movie.

I haven't seen Umro Ayyar yet but even more excited for it afteryour review. I did go watch Na Baligh Afrad with my whole family and while it was definitely enjoyable, I didn't really connect with it. I thought I'd enjoy it way more since it's based on kids my age but the adults enjoyed it more than us kids because it reminded them a lot of their lives. For us, a lot of the times, it didn't make sense and there were instances when we lost interest because of this too. I did enjoy watching it but I think it's more suited for older audiences who can relate and understand the situations better. I think Umro Ayyar will be more our taste (fingers crossed)!

10:31 we watched Umro aayar in US. I don’t know what u are complaining about. Here it was only 2hrs long. I usually don’t watch desi movies in theaters. I find this movie very vague. Too many things going on and long dialogues. Not much to explain the premise of the movie or set. They failed to set the stage appropriately. I grew up on Amir Hamza and Umro Ayaar stories. Usman Mukhtaar was not the right choice for this. Long gazes and didn’t look at all heroic.
@Starlight_78903 ай бұрын
I agree besides Usman being not a good choice, he seemed to fit in as a Pakistani uni professor, but the lack of story really hurt the characters. There were too many dialogues, and long empty pauses, so much so that even the emotional scenes were forced, I felt nothing for the characters.

Just watched Umro Ayyar today and absolutely loved it! I genuinely didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. My only issue with it was that the world building could've been better and what you guys said about them talking too much also comes into that. As a huge fan of fantasy, I think the backbone of any good fantasy story is how well the audience understands the world that it's set in and this left me confused about how things were happening a lot of the time. Still, loved it overall and would definitely watch the sequel whenever it's made!
@marvelclips86013 ай бұрын
Well talking about Usman, he was the scientist not a fighter right from his childhood thats why He cant be a perfect fighter and that was well made. same crictics were made on Ms Marvel's fighting actions but she was also not a fighter and the directors made her in that way as she is not a fighter. Similar is the case with Amar Ayyar.
