Great review and you checked all the boxes on the Ninja pans. I own multiple Ninja fry pans and recently bought the Ninja NeverStick Possible Pan. This is the BEST pan I'm ever used in my life. I do hand wash it. I'd like to see your review for this pan. I use it multiple times a day everyday.

I had some T-Fal frying pans and a saute pan, not to mention saucepans. They all started peeling after a couple years. Same with my Farberware saucepan. So I replaced the frying pans, saute pan with Ninja Premium Neverstick and have not regretted it. I will eventually get some Ninja saucepans as well. These have actually lasted and continue to perform well! 🤣

What many folks probably don't understand is that non stick surfaces degrade as they are subjected to thermal shock. That just means that if you have the pan on a high heat and immediately submerge it in cold water after use, it will rapidly drop temperature and this will actually degrade the non stick surface and shorten its effective lifespan. So, it is best to let it cool to room temperature before washing it.
@JoesPhenomenal

Yep... Excellent advice.... Thermal shock is a great way to warp stainless pans, too

I have had my Ninja Premium cookware, (2 frying pans, Saute pan, Wok) for over 3 years. The pans have been heavily used and they still look good. There is no chipping, scratches, sticking. I hand wash them only, no metal utensils. I guess there is a decent 10 year warranty if they chip or something. They send you a new pan. I am impressed with how long they have lasted given they are non-stick. Definitely worth what I paid for them! 🤣

Mine are still holding up really well, too. I have seen quite a few people complaining about the nonstick surface bubbling, but I haven't experienced that. Do you put yours in the dishwasher? Just trying to see if I can find anything common between yours and mine.
@johnruiz6743
@johnruiz6743 2 ай бұрын
@@JoesPhenomenal No, I have never put them in the dishwasher. I wash them all by hand which is real easy since nothing sticks to them. The interior finish still looks nice. No scratches or damage that I can see. I also have never used any metal utensils in them. Just bamboo, silicone or plastic. I have used all of them quite heavily since I like to cook pretty much daily. I also always use a little oil or butter when cooking. I think I read that you are not supposed to heat up a dry pan? No cooking sprays neither since they have some other chemicals which can leave a gummy residue.

@johnruiz6743 the cooking sprays can eat the nonstick surface. Preheating is good, but you gotta be careful to put in your fat before you end up overheating it... If that happens, it's a bad day. What temperature do you set your cooktop to? Also, what type of range are you using? Wanna see if we can figure out what people are doing when their pans bubble up.
@JoesPhenomenal

@johnruiz6743 I'd imagine they should be the same.... But if they did have a manufacturing issue during a certain time period, you would think that would affect the whole set if they were made at the same time.

I have the wal-mart version of the 10" pan. I really don't like the handle, as it's hollow and is sharp if you grab it from underneath near the front while cleaning the pan. It was $10 cheaper than the common version, and seems to have the same non-stick coating. I've used it once or twice nearly every day since October to cook something for my carnivore diet. So far, I can't find any defects in the cooking surface. I have never used anything sharp. Either Nylon, or silicone spatula, or a flexible silicone cake/omelet spatula for eggs. Usually after cooking, food just sprays off the pan with hot water before even using soap. If it ever does fail, I'll be trying the Emeril Forever Pan.

I have loved my NINJA cookware since I received the set as a gift just a year ago; however, After a few uses, I noticed the small kettle getting small bubble bursts all over the bottom. Now, after having simmered two chicken thighs (on medium low heat) I was surprised to see that the center of the kettle had peeled and shrunk! The area is about an inch to an inch and a half and the original bottom is exposed!
@susanyoung5447

For that connection area on the pans. The deep ring. Have you tried a toothbrush to get into the depth of the ring. Put the paste or whatever you use on top of the bristles and deep into the middle and bottom of them. It might work.

thanks for sharing, just received the Ninja ZEROSTICK 30cm Sauté Pan and 28cm Wok, both have lids with steam holes. Cooking eggs with bacon, the eggs stuck - I see now the water droplets test for pan temperature is flawed, I need to get pan hotter before use!
@johnruiz6743
@johnruiz6743 2 ай бұрын
Why are you heating non-stick to that temperature? The water drop test is for stainless steel that does not have a non-stick coating. The dancing water drops means the stainless steel surface has reached a high enough temperature to not stick. You don't need that kind of temperature with non-stick since it is already non-stick....🤔

Do you use induction ? Will it damage the pan more?
@JoesPhenomenal
@JoesPhenomenal Жыл бұрын
I do... Had to leave my induction range in the last place when we sold it though.. Will get another soon. With induction, you just have to be careful not to run the power to high... It's way powerful and can warp just about any pan if you aren't careful. I always left mine at about medium heat.

2-29-2024 I bought a 16 piece set on 1-24-2022 and in the past 6 weeks all the pieces have started pitting. I use only silicone spatulas on my cookware and they agreed to replace 5 pieces and claimed 3 pieces were superficially scratched and not covered. At a cost to me Shipping was $28 and will take a month to be delivered. They have a 10 year warranty but clearly this cookware is no better than most not stick cookware.

Depends on your budget. I have some kirkland stuff myself (they are discontinued now) and I also have a bunch of those Ninja Everclad ones that I got to review. Those were a really great value and they've held up nicely. However, All-Clad pans the industry standard ones and are really nice. Expensive though. In any case, you want something that is at least 3 ply and they should be at least a little on the heavy side. Light stainless pans are usually pretty bad with heat disbusement.

Hmm... Haven't had too manynissu s with that myself... The discoloration that I have on mine came from putting the oil in the pan before it was preheated though. Just threw out a whole pan of boiling water yesterday because my Ninja stockpot had all these flakes floating around the top and a big white ring around the top, as well as mottled white spots on the bottom. I added only a 1/2 top of salt to the water. No idea what the flakes/ scales on the top were. There are spots of flaking in the pot. I am scared to reuse it.

I think you said those pans have an aluminum body, but that isn't the case. That stainless nonstick only has an aluminum encapsulated base. The walls are steel with a nonstick coating. They will never heat as evenly as aluminum or fully clad pans.
@JoesPhenomenal
@JoesPhenomenal 7 ай бұрын
I did mention that about the walls and nonstick coating. When I heard from the rep was that the regular nonstick version without the steel overlay has the aluminum base with the stainless plate on it, but the version with the stainless exterior went stainless on the base. I better double check that. Totally agree with you on the hi spots although the do a pretty decent job keeping the heat even over the surface... No where near a fully Clad pan though. Didn't really expect tons due to their relative light weight though. Thanks for the correction!
@melajoh1
@melajoh1 7 ай бұрын
@@JoesPhenomenal Yeah, by "aluminum base" he probably meant the encapsulated bottom. It's made like cheap disc clad stainless steel (ex: Cuisinart Chef's Classic), but with a nonstick coating. The disc base is aluminum with magnetic steel over it to make it induction compatible.
