Super cool looking and it got a ton of attention but not worth the price. You can get a nice diesel truck, set of jet skis, and a nice boat and have money left over…

My friend has one...and there is another thing no one talks about. The hull design is horrible, if you're not riding glass calm water, everyone in the boat is getting drenched with spray. It's honestly the worst boat in terms of spray I've ever been on. And it's constantly breaking down, and his comments about the trailers are spot on, he's got the new version and it still is crappy. Most of the paint has come off already and it's barely been used 😂

Looks like a nice boat. If you compare the surf/wake settings on the Nautique Paragon it doesn’t compare. The paragon will allow to fine tune the shape of the wake etc from the display. Largest wake in the industry. A video on one would be sick. Love the channel

I've heard they are more show than go since the wave is garbage (it is a surf boat after all). Everything I saw in this video just make it seem like you're trying to make an ad for it and sell it. The damn thing doesn't even have board racks installed. The platform sinking is a design flaw as most modern wake boats have the platform above the water when empty so that it's even when loaded out. Not a fan of the gate system. They should be using trim tabs that can also aid in drivability. The steep wake is nothing more than a heavy boat that's incorrectly setup for surfing. Nice looking boat, but they don't have the experience yet of the other large brands and I can tell.

Nail on the head my man. I'm fortunate enough that a family member of mine has a Super Air Nautique. I'm not sure model but I believe its a G23 maybe a couple years old. The wake it makes (the most important part of a WAKE boat) is just as good or better then what I have seen. Maybe a few features missing and some luxury build quality perks but for a quarter of the price It excels in other areas and is still an extremely nice craft. More show than go for sure.

Definitely true, it’s mostly for show. Way to much going on in the captains area with all those different systems and buttons but not working together well. Brands like master craft and natique do a way better job with there wakeboarding/surfing system integration and easyness to use. The pavati is cool but is in now way worth 400k. No reason anyone who knows anything about boats should choose a pavati over a g25 paragon or a x star.

Simple answer: No. One of the most interesting things I have learned is that those who master the art of selling overpriced things to rich people are the ones who have the most success. All luxury items (especially houses) are overpriced by ALOT. Rolls Royce is one of the biggest scams ever for example. Not knocking the company in the slightest but I would love to build a car for 30-40k in parts and engineering and sell it for 500k. Don't even get me started on luxury brand clothing and accessories. I great admire their ability to fleece someone a thousand dollars for a shirt or a handbag. That takes some serious skill.

@@THESLlCK The county where i live (european one), being called yuppie was never ever good and majority of the time, it was not said straight to the person. It means everything that was listed already. Nowdays the usage has died down, partly because everyone has mobile phones and flat screen tv's, partly because the culture of excessive consuming of overpriced luxury items never was widespread here anyways. I've met known modern young people with lots of money and they weren't as bad, not even close, to as what i remember from the 80's. I wouldn't call Diesel Brother yuppies, at least what i have seen from a few select YT-videos. This might be the closest one to tip the scale though... In other videos, there was use of expensive vehicles but it seemed like something american business owner in heavy machinery could afford if they chose to.

I think for 400k they should probably have automatic hull plugs with some sort of redundancy so they don’t end up at the bottom of the lake. But hey, I guess that’s how you find the weak link in the chain. I am sure they will have some sort of thing worked out so that doesn’t happen again.

My Lord it’s a called a bilge pump alarm! And it’s very cheap the. A little common sense when you see your bilge pump pumping that’s an indicator! They should not be pumping anything unless you have a day of ice and people swimming dripping water a couple hours maybe it will come on briefly.

I launched my cheap-o Bayliner without the drain plug - noticed it 5 minutes later after parking, casually turned on the bilge pump and retrieved my truck. The pump moves more water than the threaded drain hole will let in, so it won't sink.

I could never afford a brand new Pavati boat but, I will still be happy with a paid in full used wakeboard boat that costs 22 to 34 grand and put down 10 to 25 grand in upgrades and repairs down the road. No payments or debt but pimping it out a piecemeal at a time is so satisfying.

Looks cool but I feel like my 115k Malibu wakesetter can do just as good if not better when it comes to water sports. The interior is a lot nicer though on the Pavati and the speaker set up looks nicer but that’s about it for 285 K more then the Malibu. I will say the new Supra’s are pretty badass like Ken blocks

IMO she's not with 400k. I live on a sailboat so I kinda recognize what makes a boat great. As far as the remote control goes...i have a diesel heater that is operated by the exact remote. Its universal and can be programmed for just about anything. Can get them on amazon and eBay for $15- $25. It is absolutely an amazing looking boat tho

Pavati makes some amazing boats, hands down. However, $400k is a bit much for the features, especially for where they are located. Oregon only has about a 3-4 month sport boating time during summer. I've been on a Pavati at Lost Creek Lake. They turn heads and look and sound amazing. With that being said, you can get SIMILAR (minus a few additional extras found on Pavati's) for significantly less. Pavati / Highway Products does sell used ones for a more reasonable price. It is sad that a local company really out priced the boats to a more elite group of society. I'm a southern Oregon resident and aside from the one time, from an employee of Pavati, I have yet to see another Pavati on the water in Southern or Central Oregon. Boat or a nice house on some property? The wait list is because it's still a "small" company which doesn't mass produce, ie. maintain quality control. The company has a target audience of "people with stupid money". This is a boat you would find in Havasu or similar areas where boating is a "lifestyle". I would love to have one, but can't justify spending that much money on a boat when my house is just a little over that in cost, and I use my house all year long.

I love it, all except the 575hp. A boat that size needs closer to double that, but then you need double the fuel and that increases weight and decreases the room for all the available seating and options, making it pretty much a waste of cash all the way around. 😬 I mean, you could put fuel tanks in place of some of the ballast but then you lose tunability.

lol, I'm sorry but for that price, they have to fix the tech in this boat. Way too much going on for the driver with all the controls on the dash. I mean for real that perfect pass I remember was in my old 206 ski Nautique from 2005....A 17-inch screen should be able to fit and show everything a driver needs with the touch of a finger to make it simple and smooth while pulling someone. Also can you not adjust the size/length of the wave without having affected the ballast? That seems absurd that at this price you don't have the tech that all their competitors are light years ahead in to get the perfect wave for the rider. I get it if you're looking for a crazy party boat to just pull up in with a bunch of people then I totally understand the pull for one of these but if you are a buyer looking for an extremely functional boat who wants to dial in their perfect wave and wants the latest tech go with just make it simple for yourself and buy Nautique.

Better as well. This thing is all show, surf wave looks awful for 12k of ballast. Looks like a yacht wave with a tab down. The boat is basically a combination of every feature you don’t need to add a cool effect so people get interested. I couldn’t imagine trying to surf and having to use 15 separate instruments just to go once. Master craft and natique it’s a 1 touch screen press and a consistent massive wave for 150k

Hey Dave. I bought the black & red AL26 from Brody early part of '20. I love my boat and it is bad ass. Only thing is the electrical problems I have had. Although I may have found it when winterizing last week with Nick the starter battery was missing a wire. Turns out the ground from the huge battery on the left wasn't hooked up. Hoping that will resolve a lot of my issues. As far a driving, wake, etc. it is everything you pointed out on the video. Sure would like to talk to you. I have been thinking about pulling the wrap off and getting it painted. I'm 100% convinced Oh & by the way, this is John Fayette not Laura.

I commented too early. After watching your full explanation the technology is impressive! My wife just reminded me of the Mastercraft 300 I bought it 2009/10, it was 30’ but would not go in shallow waters/beach your in. So the versatility of that Pavati is cool. The difference is, the 300 has a cabin and two berths… back in the day it was tech advanced but your Pavati blows it away. I would totally buy a Pavati to cruise around in. It’s a very nice boat with a cool hull design. With inflation, if I bought any of my race boats today they would probably be 600k+ so it’s all relative.

I've got a 1980 SeaRay SRV260 w\275 hours on the boat since new. I got it for free off Craigs list. It has the perfect wake to jump a wake board,knee board,jet ski's off into launch mode. It goes 38 mph and handles chop 1-2 ' like a Catamaran. These boats can out perform that 400K boat like many others I bet. All that leather and matting everyplace looks great now. But give it a few months and a dust storm then not so much. Boat prices have gone out of the normal persons realm of purchase,just like trucks. 115k for a ford p\u truck. We as consumers need to just quit buying new junk that's so over priced and look into vintage or good used products. Other wise they will just keep gouging us on everything we buy.How many parts of that boat are made in China. I bet 50% or more.

I don't care how much money I had, I would not pay $400,000 for a 26 ft boat or any boat for that matter. I could buy a really nice house with a bit of acreage in the mountains of Northern California where I live. That being said, it's nice that we finally get to see your wife and some footage and she's beautiful. A bit of eye candy never hurts. As you said, you bought your first helicopter for less than that. I never learned to fly a helicopter but I had many a ride in one and I love it. My Uncle Bobby was the guy that trained a lot of other helicopter pilots in Vietnam, and he was the actual pilot shown on the cover of Life magazine when they were evacuating the embassy!

Even if I could afford it no way would I spent that kind of bread on a ski boat. I'd like to see pavati build a 20 footer. For me that's the ideal size and that's what I had on Lake Tahoe, although mine was a jet with a 440 olds engine. But, it was virtually indestructible I beached it a hundred times that pretty much full speed and sometimes ran it all the way up onto the sand after, of course, shutting off the engine because you never want to suck sand up into the impellers. It was a Sea Ray which was why it was virtually indestructible. I bounced it off a rocks just under the water line and the worst thing that ever happened was I had to do a little bit of gel coat repair on the bottom.
