He was indicating well before that, You can't see it because the car is blocking the camera's view. You will notice he started moving across to the right to get in the gate before 1:14. Unfortunately the camera can't pick up everything.

That's the problem with flashing lights like indicators. They have a hypnotic effect on other drivers and cause temporary brain damage. Let's get back to the hand out the driver's window signals. Much safer.😆 BTW, I passed my driving test in 1961. I think that I had to know hand signals then. Is it still required? What would happen if I used them whilst driving my modern car?

You should take some lessons on driving an articulated vehicle. They have to move to the right before turning left, If they don't they will wipe out the fence or wall of the business they have to stop at.
