Are Poly Urethane Bushings Worth the Money?

just put on polyurethane bushings on my crx for the front lower control arms and also strut rod bushings and i have to say my car feels great now. After replacing my upper control arms, lower ball joints, inner outer tie rods, sway bar busshings first my car didnt feel very stable. felt very loose in the steering wheel when driving fast compared to before. wasnt sure why. i then replaced the rear trailing arm bushings and rear upper control arms with rubber and my car felt waaaay better. i now just did the poly urethane in the front and now my car feel like a race car. was scared because people said it cause snap oversteer but i havent experienced anything like that yet. cant wait to do the rear lca to finish up my car. i do feel more in the road now but in a 1990 honda crx you always felt the road alot so its not much different i would say then before.

Poly gives a much harsher ride than rubber. You might not like it.

Rackstar Correct lol. I just had a polyurethane bushing kit put into both my front/rear suspension last week (along with many other upgrades). It does give a harsher ride going over bumpers and around town, but the responsiveness and stability they provide when you’re driving a sports car how it’s meant to be driven is unbeatable. Though this is all opinion based. Plenty may not think the performance vs comfort compromise is worth it.

Hello. How often you have to lube the poly bushes ? Is maybe not recommended to run on front hardened rubber and on the rear poly bushes ???

I put energy unhinge on my upper control arms. It felt real good, it blew out my ball joint. G35 coupe. Did u have this experience?

+Tone Win I replaced my old ball joints at the same time so no I did not

Replacing your bushings didn't blow your ball joint, it just allowed you to feel your blown ball joint.
