A buddy let me put my foot in his Elite waders after getting back to the truck two years ago. I ordered mine before leaving the parking area. They're amazing. Just make sure to take care of them regarding storage both during season and off season and they'll last a long time.

@@xboxsavage1175 none. I love 'em. Did a lot of walking in them last season and they stay warm without the insulation. Granted I live in the Sacramento Valley so it doesn't get "cold" and I wear pretty lightweight wader pants too. Overall, very comfortable to walk and shoot in.

the upgrade on the boots for the elite was nice, took a couple tries to get the size right big difference from the last version. The removal of the strap clips was a mistake, i thought i would like the new hook style but they are a PITA to get into the tight loops when there is little to no light in the morning. I had to have last years pair replaced under warranty due to the seams coming undone but customer service was top notch. the warranty pair (updated version) has gotten moisture in the area of both boots around the bottom of the legs since day one but are fine everywhere else enough so that i have to flip them inside out to let them dry.

I bought a pair of TideWe waders last year I like them but my main complaint on them is I’m a bigger guy who doesn’t have the biggest feet so the waders them self are really snug but the boot part fits great! So definitely think after this season I’m gonna try to get something better

Stupid question on the waders for walk in spots. We have to walk in about a 1/2 to get to our spot and set up. Do you put your waders on when at the truck and walk in with them on in those conditions? Or do you pack them in, and then put them on when you get on location??

I own both styles of waders. The elites are hand down better definitely worth the extra money. The boots on the elite do not come off in thick muck like the standard boot will on the toughmans. Also not trying to dis on Rogers at all because I love them. And spend way too much money there. Frog toggs makes these waders for Rogers. You can buy the frog toggs cheaper I believe and they are pretty much the same thing

what are the differences between Husky Regular and Slim and what do you like?
@OutdoorLimits3 жыл бұрын
The sizes are for taller or bigger people. Slims are for short skinny guys. Regular is for regular sized people. Husky is for tall or large guys. I've always worn regular. Getting a size that is too small can cause the seams to split or leak. You want breathable waders to be kind of baggy
@TsHeEjBoI4eVa3 жыл бұрын
The waders themselves are really nice and comfy. It's the boots that keep ripping on me and i dont even beat em up or walk thru thick stuff like thorns. I got my 1st one and it lasted half the season then i got another one and the boot ripped in a month. I sealed it then it ripped in another part of the boot. Idk anymore about rogers waders but i did just bought another lol. 3rd time's a charm? Hope this one lasts longer. I use the toughman btw.

Do the elites have a zip-in-out liner? That’s my favorite part about the tough man. Basically 2 waders in one. What I don’t like about the tough man: no ankle support, baggy fit, large in general, shoulder straps are light duty, and thats about it (a bit pricy but all waders are these days). What I love: comfort, zip in liner, general simplicity, price is better than most breathables, insulation is not too much or little for my climate. After having the zip in liner I don’t think I could go back to not having that feature. It is just so convenient especially when it gets hot or I become active.

yes. they both have the zip out liner. You want breathable waders to be kind of baggy because if you stress the seams they will either fip or leak. Breathable material doesn't have any stretch.
