It's probably more than 'half' my friend. We humans, rightfully so, are skeptical about any intelligent alien lifeforms living around us. There may be microbial lifeforms living in the water on a couple of our moons like Europa or Enceladus but, they ain't gonna be flying down to visit us. I believe there may be other lifeforms in our universe but the universe is so vast, there is little chance that any alien lifeforms live anywhere near us.

Even if we find evidence of life elsewhere in the solar system, that doesn't necessarily bolster the case for life elsewhere in the universe. The solar system is so small that life on Mars or Europa could have come from the same source as life on Earth.

In the late 60's, I witnessed a classic 'Flying Saucer' pass over my house low and slow less then 100' directly above me. WE discovering alien life is not the issue, for they have already found us. Our government has long been aware of this, but has withheld full UFO disclosure out of fear of upsetting the 'delicate' religious.....that we are the sole creation of some god.....I say "Disclose and let the chips fall wherever they may!" This is just one of four sightings I've had.....and have attended the McMenamins UFO convention numerous times where I have chatted wth many others with similar experiences. BHE

sad alien facts: 1. If aliens found earth, they would probably phone home saying “No signs of intelligent life on this planet.” 2. The reason people are scared of aliens is because people think the aliens are going to treat people the way they treat animals. 3. We will be the ones invading them, unlike in most alien movies.

But we keep forgetting that the Light from said stars came a Million plus years ago. So just because we may be seeing said planet as it was Then, that does not mean there's still Life on it. Said planet may have gone extinct during the time certain stages of dinosaurs walked the Earth, or during let's say the Middle Ages.

A key issue for me is that humans have only been around for about 0.02% of the Earth’s life. We’d have to hope and pray that we exist in the same timeline as other alien life. When we look at planets thousands of light years away weee looking at how that planet was 1000’s of years ago - not today. We can’t see other exoplanets with potential life in real time

If I were the commander of an alien force intent on subduing Earth, I would just nudge an asteroid of appropriate size into Earth’s gravitational field -No alien resources wasted, pesky life on Earth eliminated, resources broken up into manageable chunks that will fit back through the wormhole.

Both Olaf Jansen and Admiral Byrd technically discovered alien life way back then. When I use "alien" in this context, Im referring to something that is foreign, unfamiliar, or significantly different from our usual experiences or understandings, not necessarily extraterrestrial. I do believe in other intelligent life that's resided in the inner Earth which is alien to us technically. No way in hell Byrd and Olaf Jansen could be both lying about what they experienced especially coming from different times.

I highly doubt any civilization even possibly reach Earth. Even if Aliens knew how to reach 99.99% the speed of light, it would still take them millions of years to reach us. Theres just no way its possible because of how far away we are from other planets and solar systems. The only way its possible if is they figure out how to teleport, which is most likely impossible in our Universe.

If they have the tech to come here, they probably have a warp drive or something. Just coming by light speed for resources is the most silliest thing as nobody would be left at their homeworld to enjoy. Imagine if it took 300 years to get a cargo ship from China to the US. Back to warp drive, if they had that, then they could either be friendly or aggressive. Either way, they'd probably just spray the planet from space with humanicide rather than engage us in battle. We don't battle ants, we just spray them
