If you actually watch the video he said willing to accept the hadeeth as long as it passes the requirements of being an authentic hadeeth. He has a masters in Hadith sciences and is an expert in determining what’s valid. So I’m sure if you bring him a hadeeth that was authentic he would allow it to be used.

Such a stupid explanation by Sheikh about the Shia. He called them non Muslims indirectly. I agree Shia have deviated a lot from the Quran and Sunnah but so have the Sunnis, even the sect of this sheikh which is Wahabism. They have hatred against the Ahle Beit and they reject Ahadis even written in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. So be careful before calling others non Muslims who believe in the same God and Prophet and books and all the other things. He should be ashamed. These Wahabis are not following Quran and Sunnah themselves, they are blindly following their sect's scholars and sheikhs and they will do anything to defend their sect. It is haram to split islam into different sections, This is said in the Quran. It is also said that the Quran is the last book from Allah and Allah said it would protect it from being corruption, however Allah did not say anything about other texts that would come after it. Now, knowing these facts and others from the Quran, I will read Hadiths to learn from it and to expand on a topic, However, I do not believe the hadith can change rules from the Quran, or make harram things halal or make halal things haram. Because I believe it is only Allah who can make something halal or haram. For example in a hadith it says you can wash over your shoes or socks when you had wudu before putting them on, however in the Quran it says clearly that you have to wash your feet to make wudu, therefore I don't believe a hadith has the authority to change the rules of the Quran

May I ask why was it that Muawiah (One of the Sahabi) ordered speaker in mosques to to begin their sermon with cursing Imam Ali(A)? (Reference: Sahih Muslim). What he said doesn’t contradict Quran at all. You are absolutely permitted (halal) to seek help or aid from anybody if ONLY that request is in the ability of who you requested from. For example, you are sick with flu so you went to a doctor and asked him to treat you and that would be completely fine. But, if you asked that same doctor to HEAL or CURE you completely or even RISING YOU FROM DEATH like he have some kind of a supernatural ability then this is prohibited (haram). Sheikh Uthman should have specified more so that it’s more clear to all.

I went to a Shia school and wallahi, alhamdulilah I NEVER had a teacher disrespect any sahabah but I do know there is a minority of jehl that exist which started in Kufa by the very people who deceived our prophet SAW’s grandson RA. I was taught the same things that this speaker said; such as, the fact that imam Jafar had several sunni students and if the whole cursing of Abu Bakr RA, Umar ibn Khattab RA and Aisha RA was at all common in the original Shi3at ul Ali community then we wouldn’t have had so many early sunni scholars who were taught by Shia scholars and vice versa

If the prophet (pbuh) was alive today, he would not recognize the Muslims, regardless of Shia or Sunni. His own prediction was there will be 73 sects. "The Jews are divided into 71 sects (firqa), the Christians into 72 sects, and my community will divide into 73 sects (Ibn Majah, Abu Daud, al-Tirmidhi and al-Nisa'i)". The shia interpretation is based mainly on ahlul bait, the sunni interpretation is very inclusive for sahaba, for example if you watch the movie the Message, it clearly shows Abu Sufyan trying to kill the prophet until the last day until Mecca is captured and he and his wife Hinda have no choice but to convert. His son and grandson Muawiya and Yazid then became notorious and corrupt rulers, with Yazid committing the crimes the Karbala, but also attacking Mecca and Medina mosques. However, some sunni alems say all of these people were sahaba and worthy of equal respect. The shias on the other hand put too much emphasis on the family, to the point of ignoring that someone like Abu Bakar gave up his wealth for Islam. The truth is likely somewhere in the middle but in these times of distress, it is best to avoid Salafi/Wahabi calls to exterminate shias because that serves only one purpose, help the zionists, and remember extremist muslims are the other side of the zionist coin.

I'm shia. I don't take hadith unless it is strong and mutawatir. Second, Sahaba in Quran arent mentioned by name. And there are verses condemning particular companions. Shia commemorate certain sahaba vs other schools. Lastly, Quran talks about intercession. I believe shaheed, with Allah's swt permission, can intercede.

This so called othman is a liar, Shias have strict rules to accept the hadeeth they don't accept any hadeeth that conflicts with the quraan Shias also have something called the elm alrejal (science of men), not all hadeeth tellers in the books are good mo'ems, some of them are mnafeqeen some others are moghaleen.

Mr.Mufti you claim that the Shis believe in the book of Bukhari when it fits their case and reject when it does not! Well! All Muslims especially the Sunni when they argue with the Christians they use some verses from their Bible that prove the Islam is the right religion and the Prophet Muhammad(SAWA) is the messenger of Allah ,yet in the same Bible they reject the idea of the trinity and Jesus being killed for the forgiveness of their sins and much more Well when the Shia uses the book of Bukhari they do the same sas you Sunnis do to the Christians the question is WHY? I will be waiting here for Mr monty, the guy who claim he loves both Ahlulbayt and the Sahaba. He also claim to follow Ahlulbayt but he isn't shia. Do you like to discuss it in Arabic or English. To summerize our discussion, he asked 3 Questions: 1) what are their teachings? Answer: You find them just like how you find teachings of anyone else: from their companions, and especially from their close and sincere students. That's how we can find teachings of prophet Muhammad. That's we can find teachings of Abu Hanifa and Alshaf'ii: from their students. 2) Why are they not mentioned in the Quran? A: that's only if you never read the Quran. " Indeed, Allah only intends to keep filth/Evil, O'Ahlulbayt, away from you, and to purify you with [extensive] purification" 3) were you following different religion? A: that's up for you to answer. I can only say that if you were not following the prophet family, then you had severe short comings on I$lam. After that he claimed you obey Ahlulbayt, and I asked: What do you mean by that? If you mean that you are following their teachings, then tell me please where do you find these teachings? From the sunni school I only found teachings of your other imams and not Ahlulbayt: Abu hanifa, Malik, Shafi, and Hanbal. So if you have teachings of Ahlulbayt, kindly direct me to them. He also asked about the Quote I brought: where is the remaining of the verse. Lastly I am not sure why he didn't C0mment on my answers? What's the point of asking questions if you will ignore the answer anyway? I thought we could come to an agreement with reasoning.

You asked why Ahlulbayt was not found in Quran and I found it for you. Now I ask: why did you need them in Quran? What was the purpose of your question? I thought if you found them in Quran you would follow them? Or was there another reason for your question? If yes explain the importance of your question to begin with or if your question was pointless.
