The problem is that many of these women take too much time enjoying life (being independent, experimenting with the hoe phase, chasing pointless degrees and accumulating debt, etc) and by the time they are ready for marriage, they've hit the wall. They think that men will be there in abundance on one knee with a ring waiting for them once they're finished with their personal endeavors. They don't seem to understand that there is only a short window for a woman's prime, and it passes very quickly.
