Other than velocity the main thing to consider with the short barrel is the short sight distance. Makes it harder to hit targets at long distance . . . unless you're Jerry Miculek.

Truthfully, I think Scott was suffering a bit from his size when it comes to your point at 12:00 about the recoil. I think his hands are actually slightly too big for that gun, so he doesn't have as good a grip as he normally does.

Is your audio supposed to be trademark scuffed? Have you tried recording your voice through a paper towel? You can jerry rig a filter with paper towel, tape, a coat hanger and a pair of pliers.
