I inherited 2 strider recently and from what I can tell through research.. They're much older probably mid 2000s..one of them has wear and I wanted to carry/use it. But I know it has resale value... So my question is.. Does anyone actually use a strider knife?

Sure are. Strider was a pioneer for a lot of things in the knife world. The SMF is my favorite folding knife design out and I own nearly everything else on the market in terms of American folders 👊

Agreed. I no longer own a CRK or Holt or a Herman, but I recently traded up from a base model SnG to the Performance SnG. The style and durability of these knives in unparalleled.

It’s the strider PT I’m pretty sure it’s a similar size to a mini bug out but it’s way more comfortable and it’s also still big enough for large hands

Been trying to get one but hard to find. I don't do facebook, etc. So I probably never will. I hear these have blade play, lock stick and boring 154 cm steel. For the price not good enough imo. I will stick with hinderer, CRK, and microtech...

They come in all sorts of steel. CPM154, 3v, magnacut, cts-xhp, cpmd2, PD1

Still relevant. They’re gone as soon as they drop. I’ve got two SMF. My favorite knife. A performance SMF is in my queue, and will get that blade grind.

@@BahmannBlades I’m having second thoughts about the performance series. Now I’m wanting 3/4 grind, Lego G-10, like the old school, but new. My other two have the aluminum, nine line for the spear point, and GG for the tanto.

Thanks for the comment. I am curious what other options as I am always looking 👀. I will say that price not being a factor I just enjoy carrying and using this blade more than my other edc blades. For whatever reason
