Interesting that hook (Right) turns in Melbourne Australia were implemented to stop turning cars from interfering with trams. The lack of storage space is an even bigger issue for cars though.

I would love for you to compare Taiwan to European counterparts in terms of walkability if you were able to. Of course everyone knows about the Netherlands, but comparing it to even Germany, the UK, France would be interesting as places not particularly famous for walkability
