Was typing a comment and then you said "not what audiophiles are looking for" and i deleted most of the comment, lol Yep, by the time the audio quality is reduced to a bluetooth level, any headphone that uses a decent dsp does a great job. And those are available (at good quality) for $250. These are a "lifestyle" product. You mentioned audiophile headphones that cost more, but what's available at $350 is ridiculously good (even down to around $250 for beginner audiophile headphones) Great review and coverage of the product. Addressed all angles, good job.

Great review…I must be the only one who likes the apple case…I wound up buying the full case when I bought my apples, but haven’t used it at all while traveling constantly, domestically and overseas…I like it because you can just reach into your backpack and grab it by the head band…easy day…i loved my apples when flying…one thing it didn’t block out was the yippee dog that was barking behind me for 20 minutes during takeoff and landing…

I agree. I am glad I got it. Sounds from these cans are so natural and its very comfortable to wear. Well worth the price for me.

Great review and I have a pair as I have lots of Sonos and think they are great however I do like the AirPod pro and I think they are just as good quality I believe it’s what you like everybody is different.

I have them and really enjoy the sound and ANC. Very comfy. Bought in bargain price during Amazon Prime. It is worth to adjust the EQ: bass -2 and treble +3 and loudness OFF. Much better. Happy to wear them and they much lighter than AP Max.

I truly appreciate the honest review. Definitely wouldn’t spend $450 for plastic over ear headphones. Waaaay overpriced, and it sounds like they aren’t that great and relying on their Sonos loyalists to buy them and their brand. I agree with you that there are way better options for way cheaper

These headphones are premium and for quality listening people ..yes there are many other options if you need a fake sound blasting the eardrums and just feels junk…you get what you paid for

Trust me...these headphones are the real deal. I was skeptical at first before purchasing it. I got it and I don't regret it one bit. It sounds fantastic and its the most comfortable cans I have ever used.

In a rotation of B&O H95, Focal Bathys, XM5, QC Ultra, APM these have become my go to. I’m selling off my Bose and Sonys but will hold on to the rest. The Ace just have the best balance of features and build and have become my favourite travel cans. Love the H95s but the ANC is pretty mid and I’m a sucker for good ANC on flights.

@@brandonfrost9801 hey mate. So yeah the case sucks. After using them for a while I found the APM to be better if you’re in the Apple ecosystem so they’ve been bumped and the APM are back as my travel cans. I still use the Ace around the house but for desk sessions it’s the B&O. Materials wise they’ve held up pretty well. Apps been a bit buggy at times but nothing terrible.

sonos is like bose. you buy the brand at the expense of performance. both do the job but others for the same price throw it into the gutter

Same logic can be applied to Airpods Max. Recently bought one for 550$ and turns out that you cannot use them wired unless you buy a specific 50$ flimsy as shit cable from Apple. Also the case and battery life is shit since there is no off button. The headphones themselves are amazing sound wise with best ANC and equally great transparency and mics. But its not worth 550$. No fucking way I'm paying 550$ for headphones that cannot even be used wired with any standard 3.5mm cable. Once the battery dies on these headphones they'll be expensive paperweight since you cannot use them wired. I returned them the very next day. I feel that my XM4 that has lasted me 3.5 years (and still work as they did on day 1) are way better value. Kind of disappointed since every other Apple device i've used works pretty well and usually provide good value.
