I will be very straightforward. I don't mean to be offensive, but...I don't think the Falcons are better than the Saints overall. They will have to prove that for me to believe it. As of last season, they were 7-10 and were one of only two teams to lose to the Panthers. They're putting a lot of hope in Kirk Cousins coming off an Achilles (iirc) injury. And why is Kirk Cousins so hyped up? I'm not saying he's not good, but he's not demonstrated that he is in a league of his own heads and shoulders above Mayfield or Carr. Maybe they're banking on Falcons' new coaching? But then the Saints also made improvements in coaching, so... To me, the Falcons would have to prove they're better than the Saints. If they sweep us or get a better record than us then we can maybe talk. But until then...like seriously why are they so hyped up!? Then they try saying we were worse than the Bucs, excuse me! We split, we won one they won one, with us winning the later one at their home field...and we had the same 9-8 record, they just won the division off of tie breaks.

Why are people not talking about the run game, cmon now. Just like you said James, new offensive coaches and a whole new play calling play style. Saints will look completely different this year. I honestly believe Kamara, Miller, Williams will do really good this year and make Carr better with the PAs. Elite defense, offense that controls the clock. ⚜️ I wouldn’t be surprised if the saints won 9 games and I wouldn’t be surprised if that saints win 10-12 games. Team is younger, the players will be more motivated to play this year. Carr will actually come in with experience with the team, playbook is now easier for him and the whole offense. Oh yea I forgot Hill, the offense will be heavy run, and PAs. Sounds like Hill will definitely be involved and make things harder for the defenses. IM EXCITED FOR THIS SEASON ⚜️ lets just pray everyone stays healthy ⚜️

It’s true, Carr was hurt, & he probably couldn’t make every throw, but if I know Derek Carr, he really wanted to feature Alvin after not having him the first 3 weeks, so much so, I bet it was part of the game plan, unfortunately, Pete Carmichael was the one designing the game plan and short check downs and screens appeared to be the only way he knew how to feature Kamara in the passing game?

We showed the stats my dude. DVOA had us ranked as the best team in the division last season. Their system breaks down every single NFL play and compares a team’s performance to a league-average baseline base on situation and opponent. So we were analytically the best team. Being the better team doesn't always translate to wins or stats.

Carr excelled under Gruden when he was asked to run the exact offense that you just described…use motion and audibles to call the play at the line of scrimmage, and then have quick short passes attacking miss matches, that are designed to get significant YAC.

They were top 10 for a while last season until they had to spend 40 mins on the field every game when ridder couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Yall haven't seen London with a competent QB. Pitts is gonna be a beast with a decent qb. Matt Ryan made him an all pro his rookie year and that was when Matt was fading out. Our RB room is waaaaay better than yours. Not even a question. Even with all that said, I'm sure you know as well as I that records and talent don't much matter when we get together. Games are close and competitive 90% of the time. As much as I hate the saints, I love the rivalry and look forward to our games each year. Watching Matt and Drew duel it out were some of the best games I've ever seen. Here's to an injury free season and good luck except when you see us.

Unlike Carolina the falcons still have decent players, cousins might do a little better, but it's mostly the play calling. One player wont make enough difference against the saints who have patched major holes on the line and changed the strategies. I think if they dual threat RBs like they did with brees they will dominate the NFC, that is the key.

I played high school ball against Hester in Shreveport La where he played for Evangel and the rest of his team looked like they were in their 30s with full beards. We literally looked like kindergarteners. Not trying to take anything away from Hester because he did hit hard but the rest of them looked like they were recruited from the NFL. They won so many State Championships and public’s schools didn’t have a chance. That private money is good.

Let's not ignore the schedule difference. Bucs are at a decided disadvantage with the schedule because they get the 1st place schedule. Look at these opponents: Bucs: 49er's, Lions, Ravens Saints: Rams, Packers, Browns Falcons: Seahawks, Vikings, Steelers Panthers: Cardinals, Bears, Bengals

Regarding a two back set. Did we never have Taysom and Alvin in the backfield all season? I am not sure but Kubiak needs to utilize those two together. Defense always keys on Taysom - if they don’t he eats them up. I imagine Alvin would love to have Taysom as a diversion or a blocker.

First year of Dennis Allen being head coach with the addition of Landry and Mathew, we were suppose to at least be in the finals for the nfc. With the illegal takedown put Winston out for the season. The year after that we didn't even make the playoffs, then we had Carr last year . Still didn't make the playoffs, we can overhype, oh but out stats says we are doing great.. geez, we can take it another look too if we are professional team playing a high-school team ,I would hope so that the professional team is better stats. Realistically 6 years ago when Dennis Allen was defensive coordinator we didn't do well with the cowboys or mobile quarterbacks now we have the shanohan and mcvay system/presnap motion plays have we done well with this type of defense? Also q from p.r.o. mentioned last year we were playing 2nd and 3rd string qbs I would say hopefully we would get better stats . But we did lose to a 3rd string with the vikings. Carr needed to stop staring down his targets presnap and only looking half the the field, so some credit was correct by Michael Thomas..... if it came from a non biased credible news person then perhaps it would have carried more weight. Yes he was injured, still ...you addressed it in this or another video. Going back to the main point falcons are how the saints were last season. I don't know how the new head coach will do with its defense . Tampa through other sources has improved their roster. Saints IDK...maybe should take the plan for the worst but hope for the best approach, the days of kill,kill kill and win win win is over
