The Saints' drop off in a single season deserves to be studied. Looked like possible SB contenders scoring on pretty much every drive...and then we proceeded to have our worst season in almost 20 years.

Caused? Dude brought the Raiders from 6-10 to 12-3 in one season with a horrible defense then broke his leg 2nd to last game in 4th quarter. They probably woulda won Superbowl that year. Dude has terrible luck

Before the season, Saints where seen as 7 to 8 win team But yes, after the 1st two games, we were seeing another ring! Then, we made a bunch of excuses for why we couldn’t continue the great play. Been a heart breaking season.

The problem will be Jacobi Meyers, Tre Tucker can beat the DB's, or draw flags. Abdullah and Mattison can break chunk yrds. Last is Bowers and Mayer at TE. 21-6 Raiders.

Saints job is actually a mess bad salary cap situation bad roster bad GM it will take years just to clear the cap the saints should just trade everyone of value for draft picks and build up draft picks fix the cap and draft Manning in 2026 or 2027 and build the team at that time we should be trying to fix the cap

This whole roster and setup reeks of Jeff Ireland. He's basically built the same team he had built in Miami. It's not the worst roster because Ditka and Kuharich had worse but its definitely not a winning roster or even winning direction.

James the 1-15 Saints were the worst record wise. The product on the field today is a result of mismanagement. This team is in a financial crater. Buying & spending on players during Payton’s era to keep the team in that “window” is now haunting the organization and will for years to come. James during Mora’s reign they had an OC named Carl Smith that ran the offense like it was preseason during the regular season. Martha Stewart has more football play designing imagination than Smith !!! Mora had a hell of a Defense that would compete every weekend but a 1964 VW Beetle offense.
