It's not just "online fans". Kurz came out with an article positing Farabee won't be here in two years. You guys had a show saying Couturier wouldn't be here in a few years. You've done 30 shows about whether or not they should trade Konecny, and you specifically asked Keith Jones leading up to the deadline about Laughton trade speculation. None of that was Twitter, thats all media

It´s time that the Flyers brass and a portion of the fanbase stop falling in love with average talent just because they are a good guy in the locker room and brings grit. Laughton should have been traded at peak value last offseason and there was no reason to extend Seeler for four years and $2.7M AAV. Finding guys that brings about the same to the table as those is super easy and would be at a lesser cost as well.

Laughton is not a leader and honestly I would never look at him as a leader, neither is farabee.. I love couts, but all 3 of these players need to go..especially laughton

That Will not happen $$$, if you want a true rebuild its Time to Trade Konecny versus big Return maybe two young players under 23 , something is sure I dont sign Konecny for more than four or five years if he want 8 years I Trade him sure

All very well could be. Couts won't get them much in return. Age, injury history, & contract will make it difficult. Laughton probably won't get much either. He's been a 'fly under the radar' steady performer with a reasonable contract. But never a standout quality star. Farabee, the youngest, just hasn't been consistent enough to draw much interest. And he always seems to have 1 foot already inside Coach Torts' doghouse for some reason.

@@sirfish9824 If you don't understand hockey you might think so. Konecny is a great example of a player who makes highlights in games that don't matter and disappears when they do. He is Ghost at forward. If the Flyers extend him they will be paying someone to take his contract in four years (or less).

@@shellysmith1037 If we can get top 5 picks in 2024 or 2025, absolutely. Exactly what you want for a team building through the draft. Any team where Konecny is your best player and Scott Laughton is a top 9 forward is a perennial DNQ or first round sweep.

@@vimmentors6747konecny isn’t gonna be our best player. But he’s a player that we’re never gonna have again if we trade him. He plays hard. He was our best goal scorer and play maker. Like why in the world would we trade him. Coots and farabee have to go before him.
