Our receivers ARE good enough...Kirk is an excellent player..Engram is OUTSTANDING...now add Brian Thomas and Gabe Davis and we really have some weapons here plus some depth behind them! Sorry to see Zay go - he was a GOOD player for us.

Engram is ok. I don’t like the fact that his first td all season was Dec. 4th. I don’t care about receptions we were last in red zone scoring. Dead last. And tight end is basically the safety net that helps in the red zone.

Our WR core if they stay healthy, should be a Top 10 unit in the League 🏈🔥💯

I think we will shock alot of teams. I think the personnel can attack all 3 levels of the field

We thought that last year too...although I think we have Upgraded our Roster for this season so hopefully we can put it all together this year.

Yeah, Ridley couldn’t do it consistently enough and Zay was MIA. It is what it is lol I do like this group better than that one.

We got deep threats and Kirk & engram to tear up the middle of the field. And an improved OL.

Don’t forget ETN underneath. He’s a home run threat whenever he gets ball in space.

Not to mention same WR coach in Hall. It’ll be fun to watch (hopefully)

If the rookie produces what I think he can, we should be in good shape. We have a good group.

I think they’re good enough. BTJ could make it great. It seems like we have the personnel to finally attack all levels of the field. When healthy, Zay was the closest thing we had to a guy that can win downfield. Not just getting open but actually making a play. We missed that last year. Gabe and BTJ bring that in spades. Add in Kirk, Evan and ETN being huge threats underneath, I think that group bout to go off. What really separated us from the Texans was the Texans receivers could win deep. Look at their average YPC compared to ours. I’m gonna say top 8 group by the end of the season.

Think finding the spot in zones is Engrams weakness actually. He has a long stride and his strength is his catch radius. My problem with Engram is if he’s the safety net why did it take him to Dec 4th to score his first touch down? Good for all the receptions that’s a players stat but as far as team success Jags were at the bottom in red zone scoring. Hopefully he improves his strength and mobility.

It was the scheme

@FXJumper Scheme played a role yes but as former WR. I spot his weakness. Tall guys can't find open spots because they're easy to guard and not as elusive as the Sam Leporta Mark Andrew's the Travis Kelce. TEs his height has to be more physical. Makes no sense to be last in red zone scoring and he gets his first tub when the season almost over.

I personally think by week 8 BTJ will at a a minimum be the 2nd target if not Tlaws #1 guy

I saw at least 3 long balls thrown to zay (4th quarter vs the Texans to name 1) where either a faster guy (BTJ) or more physical recievr (Gabe THE Davis) would e come down with it there deep games def gonna be more efficient

I see Ridley getting a lot of sh** for running the wrong depth on his routes. Just a thought, but if the O-line hurried TLaw in the pocket isn't it common sense to think that also impacted Ridley's routes as well? If Trevor releases the ball sooner it's going to appear that Ridley isn't in the right spot. Just food for thought...

Let be realistic here Kirk is an excellent WR but he’s not WR1, Davis is an up and down not consistent WR3 in Buffalo, Engram is not a true TE he is also a up and down not consistent. BTJ is a rookie not proven anything yet. The Jags need a go to TE that can block and a WR1 I don’t see it in this group

It’s not about WR ones or twos. Although, it would be nice to have a Jamar Chase or Justin Jefferson. It’s more about offensive scheme and how they utilize the WRs ball skills. Kirk is probably one of the best slot WR in the game. Gabe Davis is good to great deep threat. And BTJ can turn into playmaker. Those three alone, should be able to create open space. Which is perfect for Engram and ETN. I agree with Jordan here. This SHOULD be a more complete offense.
