ND's eyeshadow palettes are all I've been using for the past 2 years. I was such an eyeshadow palette junkie, I bought from other brands for the longest time, but once I discovered how good ND's formula was, I was committed!!
@AnnaKellyBlogs10 ай бұрын
I totally agree! I was always buying the newest palettes at Sephora and after a week or two, I usually went back to ND. Or if I was going out somewhere important, I always use them. My collection started getting out of control and I eventually realized I was wasting my money on BH Cosmetic,Revolution, Milani, Wet n Wild, or most urban decay/too faced/Tarte pallets when I would reach for ND over them any day of the week 😂
@Juliemarie31110 ай бұрын

I love the Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath palettes. Mostly for the packaging. Both formulas are good. But they're both treats to myself palettes, not my everyday or travel palettes
@kristinehansen.10 ай бұрын
Love Natasha Denona too. But I am kind of the opposite. I use my Natasha Denona pallettes pretty everyday and take them traveling. I love make up. Do my makeup almost every day. I pack only pallettes that I can do multiple looks with and I have everything in my backpack. I don't trust putting anything that can break in my suitcase only in my hand luggage.I used to collect make-up and barely touch my most expensive makeup. I had a very expensive CHIKUHODO brush set that I didn't even touch for years because it was so pretty and expensive until someone asked why I never used them Then I realized how stupid it was using several hundred dollars on something that I never used. I use those brushes almost every time I do my makeup now. My favorite brushes. And I try to get the most use out of my palettes. Only way it's worth the money if I actually use it.
@Tified96710 ай бұрын
You know what I thought that initially but given the shelf life I've now been wearing them on a daily basis esp I Need a Nude & the Glam palette & the mattes in the mothership palettes. I'll only buy the motherships from Pat. I just think I may as well use them if I'm paying that price but save the duo chromes for dress up.

The fact that one shade is 1.2 g (the vast majority don' t even reach 1 gram but 0.8) and costs 4.6 $ is ridiculous. 🖤
@carrielassiter845510 ай бұрын
You are so right!!! Why are we buying makeup? To put on our faces to look pretty. It’s not about the vessel that carries it. Sure, we want it to hold up and protect the product, but that’s all it needs to do. Colourpop cardboard and others who use it are my winners. It’s recyclable. The other “luxurious” cases will lay in our ground FOREVER!!! It’s not worth it, not to mention the high dollars we are GIVING to the high end brands. No, there is great stuff that is less expensive and more earth conscious.

It’s interesting shimmers cost more, I notice a lot of indie brands (and even drug store) make good shimmers but seem to struggle with mattes… maybe it’s more expensive to make a shimmer but easier to make formula wise bc I notice many popular indie brands tend to have shimmer heavy palettes (I’m talking INDIE like copacetic pretties for your face looxi etc… Glam Lite is indie but pretty big in the space and their mattes are insanity and perfection).
@TheAngelLife10109 ай бұрын
I don't know If I would say it's worth that price tag, just based on that assessment. Clearly, it costs less to make, so the company can make a profit. All "luxury" brands play to your vanity, to make you think it's worth the high price tag. With that said, if a brand has a formula, that you know for sure you can't get somewhere else, is what makes a product worth the splurge.
