Hi Zana, I am down here in Texas but I really enjoy your channel and your fishing reports. I am also very intrigued by your speed and efficiency in tying flies. Am planning a trip up your way in the Spring and really looking forward to it. Keep up the good work.

The steelies heard the Canadians were coming and headed back to the lake. They'd rather hunt gobies than face a bunch of US-starved Canucks in the river!

Thank you for the report. My son and I traveled from Maine to fish a couple days with a local guide last week and struck out (zero fish to hand) and I was thinking it may have been us. Looks like it’s a grind for sure…hope it turns on for everyone soon.

gotta grind i was up last week with the drop in water tho it was still high right around 1000 and still picked up about 20 bites and about 12-15 landed over 4 days on center pins and fly rods they are there but u gotta be ready to go hrs without a bite for that 30 min window where ull get 3-5 bites its a true grind as opposed to last season where all the fish trickled thru the same little bottle necks. gotta make 12 thousand cast to the next guys 6 thousand if u wanna succeced!!!

Thank you for ur honesty lol. Was up last year n was very slow was coming up right before thanksgiving. But now going up to lower Niagara/ oak orchard/ genesse river although the salmon river is more scenic from what I see n hear harder n fewer fish they say average 19 hours per fish lmao. That may be a true fact !
