You need to know about those earbuds... Those earbuds seems to be developed for the S9 sound system. What I mean with that? Well, that you first, replace the rubber earpiece with one of the included earpieces that fits your ear, and Second, but most important, SET UP THE ADAPTIVE SOUND in the equalizer settings. Trust me, when you run the audio test to configure the sound, you can instantly notice how the sound gets nicely set and the quality improves... And yes, they have good bass.

and u can add more bass with EQ if u max out the 63 level yet the top end remains clear...The AKG's make even iphones sound awesome

I am using akg earbuds given to my by a friend of mine she said its from her s10 phone set im using a samsung a50 and yeah i was suprised by how good it sound and the fitting is just awesome even if i shake my head they never fall out.. and my phone got an dolby atmos sound effect by the way

Man, absolutely worth 99$, and bass is awesome. I first thought the same as you when tried for the first time but, the rubber adapter wasn't to big so I wasn't hearing all the frequencies. As soon as changed the rubber adapter to a bigger one I could hear a clean lovely and lovely bass. And I must say, these are the best earphones I have ever had.

Did the adaptive sound and it's still incredibly tinny. I am wondering if I'm doing something wrong when so many people say how good these are.

you may have fake ones...if you don't get them in your brand new phone or from Samsung's website...they're probably fake...i have alot of IEM's from shure,audio technica,sony,AKG semi open back 240 studio headphones and i prefer the original AKG earbuds for everyday listening with custom EQ...i have some Fiio FH1's on the way too which are highly recommended.The legit AKG's are very very good soundwise.

If you don't put them far enough in you will get almost no bass.

I have 3 pairs of Akg and all sounds equally good... u just need good fit. Try change tips and push further inside..and they destroy many 100$ iems..airpods are bad jokes in front of this akg

The AKG earbuds really suck... No BASS. No depth or richness. Shit accessories for such a great unique line of phones...@samsung

Great using these buds pairing with Poweramp Music Player with its built-in equalizer and decent bit-rate mp3's and M4a music files. People are complaining about bass and etc. but you need to consider not only the headphone quality but also the quality of your music files whether they are crappy compressed mp3's or high quality mp3's and m4a with lossless formats.
