Are the Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals Worth it in 2023?

Just got mine upgraded from tp3a. It`s like night and day I can steer the car with the gas pedal now and braking is spot on I`ve become so much more consistent still working on being faster but can not believe the difference. Everyone said pedals were the thing to upgrade and they were right. To anyone whose struggling get a set a of decent pedals.

@@fysar6269I currently have the T3PA and personally hate them. Brakes way to touchy same with the gas. Going to to pick up a set of these pedals today as I can’t stand the T3PA pedals. All personal preference though.

The throttle and clutch pedals are actually hall sensors and not potentiometers. Plus the brake and clutch pedal face plate can still be adjusted for height, just not as much as the throttle. If you look at the back of the lever itself there are extra holes you can use. You can even see them in your video when you show the back of the pedals when talking about the springs for the brake pedal.

I have had some t-lcm for about 2 years in my sim rig. I replaced the brake spring with the apex v2r 3d printed damper kit, I like how that feels better personally. They havent skipped a beat, never had a single issue. When you pick them up they feel and look really cheap, but when you use them they feel fine. My 2c. Nice video thanks for sharing

Just FYI there is no potentiometers in these pedals. The brake as you said is load cell and clutch and throttle are actually hall sensors

Just got mine and pleased to say it feels like a good choice. Though it has to be said the brake is a learning curve. Breaking old habits is the thing , must be said I've only used it twice. I have to raise my foot for the break pedal which is a pain. The bigger pain and come on Trustmaster but why don't you supply the necessary bolts to fix it to a base. For such a small thing, it does reflect badly on the company. Yes they're not expensive to buy yourself. The problem is when you open the box on Xmas day all excited. You find you can't fix it to your rig. It's the equivalent to a toy without batteries. Nice video BTW

@@dulappen494 Potentiometer based pedals use variable resistors (little needles rubbing on a disk) to measure pedal position, which can wear out over time and become less accurate due to physical contact and dust. Hall effect-based pedals, on the other hand, use magnetic fields to detect pedal movement, which makes them more precise and reliable because the system doesn't have any parts making direct contact. Hall effect systems do still need to be maintained because gunk can and will throw the system off but you don't have to go buy a new logic board every few months like you have to with potentiometers.

Oh I see that you're using the TM SF1000 wheel on the T300 base. I have the same base and am wanting to upgrade my wheel and pedals to have the same exact setup you have. How's the wheel on the T300 base?

Yes they will go to 100%. Your pedals are either faulty or broken from wear and tear. You can adjust it in the panel tho

Swap your clutch and accelerator springs around then order a new heavier weight spring for your clutch. The added weight on the gas makes a noticeable difference to throttle control

I wanna use these on ps5 but I heard that you need a computer to recalibrate the pedals whenever you change the springs on the brake pedal. Is there anyway to do it without a computer. Edit: please get back to me quickly. Some dude is selling them local for $145 and I ain’t trying to miss out😂

Don't recommed it. You can not use these pedals with a Moza R9. Most games doesn't support a separate wheel/base with separate pedals like these.

@@Tt67h it’s a headache if you don’t get a good pair. Their proprietary software isn’t hardly available anymore. Kinda defeats the purpose. Get fanatec or moza if you want direct drive. Stay away from thrustmaster. When the pedals work, they’re great, IF they work. Every time I load my game I cross my fingers in hops there wasn’t an update and hope they work. If I could go back I would just get moza everything.
