When Hamas launched its invasion of Israel, the UK government responded by affirming their support for Israel. But in the past few days, that support has apparently waned with David Cameron tweeting for a sustainable ceasefire. In this video, we're going to look at the Tory party's historic support for Israel, Sunak's response to October 7th attacks, and whether the government's support for Israel is waning.

The Tories are not reversing support for Israel; they are running out of excuses and are worried about public opinion. They consistently care more about power than human life. The last 13 years have consistently shown that.

Democratically elected short term officials who don't learn or care. As time passed since the founding of Israel, their crimes were normalised. Normalisation as a result of unaddressed injustices. Those forces including Tzipi, all went after Jeremy Corbyn who was more serious about this issue. They manufactured and exaggerated anti semitism problems to an insane proportion by amplifying the most fringe and also false allegations because apparently everything is anti semitic. Thanks to the zionists, many died in covid. Their influence needs to removed from Britain. They are similar to nazis.

Israel pulled out of Gaza and received terror attacks for it. That's why the walls around Gaza were built. The two state solution is dead. Arguing for it is bad faith until Palestinian leadership and people actually call for it. But they are not. They do not accept Israel as a neighbour. If you were Israeli would you be comfortable tearing down the walls so your neighbours could attack you repeatedly? What do you actually suggest Israel does to try? That's not really true. They offered the two state solution multiple times. Palestinians rejected it every single time. People who argue for the two state solution currently are doing it in bad faith. Its not a viable solution until the mentality amongst Palestinians shifts towards accepting their neighbours. Until that point Israel has no option other than to occupy for security. The biggest issue that Israel can address is cracking down on illegal and radical settlers more. And not granting permits for them. Cameron is right that the lack of crack down on settlers does undermine the political situation. Its also the only credible and fair criticism people have as an argument against Israel's actions.

@@Spojo1 You can deny facts and try to give it an Israeli spin, but facts is that Palestine exists longer than Israel does. Israel was given the land by the Brits in 1947, after the 1917 Balfour Decleration. In that decleration Balfour promised a future Jewish state in Palestine. Nothing was asked to the people who lived there already for generations (don't come with the crap about Palestinians not living there for a long time and all the other bs), but it was forced upon them. You can point at a 2-state solution, but without Western colonialsm there wasn't even a solution needed; Israel wouldn't even exist at all. What is to accept if the other country is taking your land, is keeping your people hostage, can turn the power and watersupply off whenever they want to and actually have roads unaccesable for Palestinians. Israel doesn't even consider Palestine could be an equal country. Why would they actually invade the West Bank and force Palestinians out of their homes, take over their farmlands? Take actually the overall power in the Westbank, while this area should be Palestinian terratory? You were talking about illegal settlers and that it should be cracked down more, with no permits for new settlements. Maybe it would also be a good idea to not hand out machine guns to the people living in the settlements already.
@Spojo1
@Spojo1 5 ай бұрын
@@Bruce954 This is laughable. Trying to speak on facts and missing key information. The kingdom of Israel is older than Islam. A huge portion of Israeli Jews are native to the middle east and this region specifically. Palestine is the name the Romans used for the region known as Israel. They are the same thing. Palestinians are descendants of various middle eastern refugees of other ethnicities. Some are from that region. Many are from other parts of the middle east. But Palestinian is not an ethnicity. Its a made up modern grouping. The West bank includes historic Jewish settlements like Hebron and Jenin. Why are ancestral Jews not allowed to return to their homeland? Everyone should have the right to live there in peace. What happened in 1948 is the result of Muslim intolerance. That war was started by Arab nations and Palestinians that could not accept Jews as their neighbours. This conflict isn't about ethnicity. Its about religion. There are plenty of Arabs with full rights in Israel. If there weren't radicals causing issues all people in the region could live in peace throughout the land. That goes for both Palestinian extremists and radical Jewish settlers. Both are problems. One does not accept the existence of Israel as a state and the rights of Jewish people. The other seeks to forcibly take their ancestral homeland back through violence and intolerance. Both ideologies are incompatible with peace. Until they are gone no two state or other solution will be possible.
@Bruce954
@Bruce954 5 ай бұрын
@@Spojo1, that is a pity. For you I mean. I only stated facts. For the Palestinians etnicity is the most important reason to have the right on that land. For Israel it is a book, which for many is nothing more than plain fantasy. I can also write a book, claiming land as very important for my people. Let's say I write a book about the area Greater London and say that the land is promised to my people. Can I claim that region as mine, forcing the people living in that area out, since it was promised to me and thus my homeland? Because that is just the way people claim land, based on their religion. Everyone should have the right to live in peace. That was the case in that area. Before 1947. Before Israel excisted.
