He has a good point but the problem is if what he is saying is true it would controdict what Peter said in Acts 2:22 Thur 26 when he was confronted with choosing another Apostle, stating that... they would have to have been companied with the other Apostles all the time when the Lord Jesus went in and out among them, from the time of John the Baptist to be a whiteness with them of His resurrection. ( So clearly how could any believer who was not amoung them at that time be a Apostle ? It can't be.)

How about revelations chapter 21:14. Paul was not the last apostle it was Matthias according to Peter acts 1:26 but also Bible states in Acts 14:14 said Barnabus was called an apostle as well? Need clarification please. Thank you may the Lord The CHRIST Bless you.

There are no Apostles living today. See Acts 1:15-26. The requirements were you had to have been with the Lord Jesus from John’s baptism to the time Jesus was taken up. And be a witness to the resurrection of the Lord. No one alive today fits those qualifications. Anyone who says they are are false.

That verse just states those 2 people were of note AMONG (to the, or within the Apostles) not they They Andronicus and Junua WERE Apostles. Read it closely again.

Paul said in 1. Cor 4: 9 Paul said he was the last apostle. Rev 21: 14 indicate the Holy Jerusalem had 12 foundations "and in the names of the 12 apostles of the LAMB!"

Thank you for your explanation. I have been hearing that there are no more Apostles (for which I did not agree with). Most people who argue this base it on Acts 10:38-41. Where Apostles must have witnessed the resurrection of Jesus. Paul did not witness the crucifixion or the resurrection. Also,there were 120 people in the Upper Room (including women). Would that make everyone in the Upper Room an Apostle? Next, they point out that miracles, signs and wonders followed the Apostles. Scripture only really confirms that for Peter and Paul. No other Apostles are shown to have done so. (Which seems odd, given the book of ACTS would have chronicled those events and was written by Luke at the beginning as he was with Christ). Next, they also believe that Apostles today do not show the signs and wonders of the Apostles of that time. Paul said some called Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers. That has to mean that there would be others after him. In addition, because these signs and wonders have not been seen, does not mean they are not being done. In the last days, GOD will pour out his spirit on all flesh. That means that signs and wonders have not ceased. Therefore, the offices would still be available in order to continue to facilitate GOD'S word to his people. NOW, I do agree that there are people with the "TITLE" who may not demonstrate the gift. But there are those who are called to that office to establish churches (ministries). Thank you, you have said the same thing I have, based on the same logic from the scriptures. Romans 16:7 Paul says " who are of note among the apostles" other translation say "known to/by the apostles" they were known by the apostles, this doesn't mean that they were apostles.

what about these verses Acts 1:22 (the last part) ... beginning at the beginning of 22... 22. Beginning from John's. baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. (& now the part i am talking about) For one of of these MUST become a witness with us of His Resurrection" Also 1 Corinthians 9:1 "Am I not free? Am i not an apostle? Have i not seen Jesus our Lord!" & 1 Corinthians 15:7 "Then He (meaning Jesus Christ) appeared to,James, then to all the alortles and last of of all (In the New Testament) apeared to me, also, as to one abnormally born. parenthesis mine Sounds,like to me that a REAL apostle HAS TO BE hand picked by Jesus Christ Himself to see him on the flesh, in The Resurrected form. i believe there HAS to be apostles, or else how would The Church (The Body of Christ) keep going all these years!

Jesus left gifts when he ascended they are until we come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of Christ. There are all the 5 fold minsters to this day . You do not know God if you say there are none of any of the ministers. All the apostles went back and ministered to the body . Romans 1;11-12

The Body of Jesus Christ consists of many members but is yet one body. Our bodies consists of many parts but is yet one body. Are new born babies still being born with all the parts we were born with? The answer is absolutely yes. By the same token, the body of Christ which is the Church still consists of apostles which are members of the body of Christ. If there is nothing missing in our bodies, there is certainly NOTHING missing in the body of Jesus Christ.

I think brother you meant in the Old Testament. Why would you have “Prophets” while Jesus was there. When Jesus was the ultimate prophet and Paul was the last apostle established and John the last apostle that died.

Jesus himself, yes- weather in the flesh or by revelation. Hand picked while He was in the flesh to be considered an Apostle- that’s incorrect. Paul, Matthias, and Barnabas wouldn’t qualify.

WHAT ??? 😲😲😲😲, Paul is the epitome of what Jesus picked the other 11(12) for. Without Paul the basically us no New Testament aside from The Gospels, a few Epistles, and Revelations. It was Paul that did what Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:16-20.
