Sorry JW! I could have labeled it better. 😅 But thank you for featuring Kat and I, and a URG match! ⚔️ Hopefully you get some more.

I want to see more female fencers! They are too often forgotten. Thanks for the video!

Glutzhau, krumphau, and prelhau are all historically grounded beat attacks with varrying levels of intensity.

The early 17th century treatise ''Avisi Necessarii per difendersi dall'Inimico'' actually gives advice on how to fight a bear with a sword :D

It doesn't require that your provoker be insufficient or ineffective. All a provoker requires is that your opponent ends up in the spot you want. Its very good to mix your provokers with real cuts so your opponent cant tell.

If it's real isn't it a hitter?
@josiasarcadia28 күн бұрын
@ yeah! i mean to say: your opponent should never know which it's going to be to be a really great provoker. I would say in this case repeatedly doing actions that are structurally weak will get punished from a fencer that calls your bluff or knows how to take their turn back. TLDR it can pay off to program your opponent, but it works even better when they are disguised as actions that they can't tell will hit them. thanks bro!

Depends on their character, in general women are more cautious when fighting, but it's not a rule and there are some really brutal & agressive ones.

@konstantin3374 huh, What exceptions are you talking about? Can you give examples?

Hi! "Aggression" or what I assume means visibly pushing another fighter by taking space or attacking is used when the occasion calls for it. I won't push someone who excels under pressure and I won't wait around for a scientist type of fencer to set up an attack. It doesn't have to do with our character lol it has to do with appropriate response and reading a situation. A good fencer should be adaptable to both, regardless of sex.
