I reached to a level of a Food Safety Manager implementing ISO 22000 standards and conducting inspections and Audit all you need is how to implement your knowledge into action where India gives limited exposure. Get your hands dirty work on field where you like to work as an intern or even as a passion for free get experience and then certify yourself. Forget about salary for six months just focus on experience and opportunities. Work as a freelancer if you can't get a permanent job. Right from ground level that's the farm to the customer. Lots to learn during this pandemic. Learn different ways and strategies used in field of food science and how simple it can be applied. Good luck

Basically our government don't have the calls to provide jobs in food industries. The process to get a government job is made so complicated that even a guy in Nasa might find it difficult to fill and follow the forms.

It starts with curiosity. Question everything. Question that why a bottle is designed in a way we see it today. Question that how food products are priced. Question that how supply chain works (you get the point) Develop a mindset of asking questions and figuring out their answers on your own, through books, articles, internet, research papers etc. Also, think about the problem or inefficiencies that exist in the food ecosystem. And then try to come up with solutions. If you can do just that, you get ahead of a lot of students. Most people think that RnD means testing and analysis, but that comes later. I hope it helped.

Maine kafi B.Voc students ko dekha hai jinhe job nhi mil payi. Isliye mai is specific degree ke favour me nhi hu. Food science ya technology ek science based field hai aur kafi government aur private jobs me arts students eligible bhi nhi hote. Aap aisa Kar skte hain ki B.voc krne ke baad MBA Kar len. Isse apka career path bhi Acha hone ke chances hain.
