Celestia and and luna were made alicorns by Starswirl Bearded or celestia created that magic on her own because she makes others an alicorn (twilight). Celestia and luna were made alicorns because in the crystalling ep 1 celestia said that flurry heart is the first born alicorn which means celestia and luna were made alicorns because flurry"s the first born alicorn and celestia and luna were made alicorns. But their parents were alicorns and they weren't. But because flurry's the first born alicorn which means celestia luna parents were also made alicorns by some pony (Starswirl Bearded). This makes sense right?

Okay, so we’ve got that settled. I somehow remember that somewhere it is mentioned that Celestina and Luna were not always alicorns. I think they got their wings when they got their cutie marks and sun and moon powers. Flurry Heart, as stated, is the only naturally born alicorn due to what is presumed to be a genetic mutation.

Also, Celestia specifically said that the birth of an alicorn is something EQUESTRIA has never seen. She and Luna were born before Equestria was founded.

If a murderer was brought to court, and they apologized over and over again, would anyone forgive them and give them a second chance? No. The damage was already done. The same applies here. If Sawtooth came back, half of his community isn't gonna forgive him because the damage was already done, the victim(s) suffered already and a victim from grooming could get traumatized from that experience. It just proves that Sawtooth isn't someone to trust. And he knew what he was doing, so this wasn't a "mistake". He knew what he was doing, what he wanted and the dangers It could bring to his career. And this isn't a common every day mistake. This is something that could bring him to court, If anyone got to know his real identity. Sure, he may regret it now because he was the damaged one now, he got exposed and his career got doomed. Did he regret it before the controversy? Probably not, probably yes, we'll never know.

This needs to be updated to include Opaline and Sunny. My personal thoughts are that Opaline is a unicorn who either stole her wings or used a spell to create her wings. As evidence, exhibit A, we know that Opaline stole magic to make herself powerful. Exhibit B is the fact that her wings become transparent just like Sunny Starscout's wings. Sunny's wings are only there when she calls on the alicorn magic suggesting that she is nowhere near being a fully-fledged alicorn.

@@LxdgrMON Opaline is not a reliable source, and because Spike Doesn't really remember, he can't be considered a reliable source either. Spike did remember that Opaline stole dragon magic, and in the comics, she is depicted as a unicorn in at least one flashback by Discord. I never consider the comics cannon to anything given that the comics often contradict both the show and other comics. Even so... the only way Opaline and G5 make any sense is if we are looking at an AU and Opaline became an alicorn in much the same way as Cozyglow and the bit about growing up with Luna and Celestia a big fat lie she gets away with because no one can call her on it.

@@nhansen197 the only way I can think of to properly solve this, is to think of the timeline. I think that the episode the last problem takes place almost 1000 years after the last time we saw child Twilight. I have two reasons to believe so, when we first see Starswirl, he comments on how big Celestia and Luna have gotten, with them commenting that it has been almost 1000 years. This could indicate that Alicorns could only grow into their “Adult” form when nearing 1000 years. My second reason is the fact that Twilight already has a pupil, and it took Celestia almost 1000 years to find the right one, so why should it take Twlight any less?? If this is true then Twlight and her friends reign lasted for at least 1000 years before the events of Opaline. Once I figure out the rest I can probably figure out whats happening with the Alicorns. But to be fair, some of your points do make alot of sense,I just think we need to understand everything connecting G4 to G5 otherwise both of our theories are pretty much useless. Do u have any ideas on how G4 and G5 connect, please lmk if u do lol

Rainbow dash has a lot of Pegasus magic. She is magically talented just in the Pegasus sense Same with apple jack magically talented just in the earth ponies sense You know when twilight became an alicorn? She didn't get Pegasus wings like rainbow and fluttershy showing they were added after the horn But when we see cadence for the first time when she was younger she had wings just like rainbow and fluttershy showing that they were there since the start and the horn was added. So yeah that's my proof. I think when a unicorn becomes an alicorn they get curvy wings but if a Pegasus becomes an alicorn they keep regular Pegasus wings. Thats wrong, MLP Make your mark (Gen 5) confirmed that Celestia and Luna were born as Alicorns in an Alicorn city. When they say that Naturally born alicorns are something that Equestria has never seen they are speificly talking about Alicorns IN Equestria, as up until that point they thought it was impossable. Before Flurry Heart thier belief was Alicorns can only be made like Sunny(Gen 5), Twlight, and Cadance, while natrually born Alicorns can only occur in the Alicorn City, like Celestia, Luna, and Opaline (Gen 5)
