Are these expensive concealers any good?! These are my honest thoughts

VB beauty wins again! she simply does not miss. she takes her time, is deliberate about releases, does not give a single f about trends, and never ever compromises on quality. it's obvious she is creating a brand of products SHE wants to use. and guess what, i want to use them too. in the case of vb beauty, you get what you pay for. and i'm paying for this concealer now.

Totally! Her stuff is pricey for sure but the quality is there. If it wasn’t I would be annoyed but her products are so good. You’ll have to let me know what you think once you try it out! 💚 hope you love it as much as I do!

I like the westman atelier shade T1, at least on camera. I think yellow undetones usually work well for undereyes because it cancels the purple of dark circles, but of course that shade doesn’t provide much brightening. Sounds like it'd be good for somewhat natural days since you also blend with your fingers and don't need to set with powder. Eta: yeah once you add the VBB one, the shade is definitely better suited to you!

They both wear nicely on the skin. Manon, gotta give you credit...your undereye routine is definitely the great foundation that makes these products look good. If a person has more significant hyperpigmentation not sure these would look as good on them. That said, I like the innovation of VBB and undertones better. That pricetag & small product amount, I would pass & live vicariously through you. 😅

The VBB works seamlessly for my dry mature skin. I was shocked by its strong medium coverage on my skin… it spreads so generously that I can do both under eyes and use it as a face base with only three clicks….it doesn’t need powder and it looks and feels great all day. The fact that I want to wear it has made it worth its cost for me. Thankfully the shade I chose was perfect which definitely added to its favourability.

really enjoyed this video. I ended up getting the VBB and I really like it, it feels innovative and different. Just like you I'm not happy about the price but I noticed that I need very little product to hide imperfections, hope it lasts long enough to justify the cost

To me it’s crazy that VB Beauty charges that much for so little product that has light to medium coverage. I’ve seen other people’s review and they said it didn’t cover enough for them. Also I heard it has a 6 month expiry date. I tried the Westman Atelier one and to me it just looked like I had makeup on. I like using my concealer all over my face. I’ll stick with my fitglow that is full coverage, but also looks natural!

VBB looks very good I ordered in the the same shade M1 I am a tad bit lighter than you but have darker under eye so hoping the shade will be good. I ordered T1 for WA but as you said it looks way too yellow on me so good to hear that we can return I just initiated my return. Thanks for the review. Can not wait for ciele concealer review as it has spf 50.

The undertones of the VB concealer look spot on but the amount you get for your money should be criminal 😩 I prefer a minimalist collection so if you could only own 1-2 concealers which would you own? I previously purchased the kulfi concealer on your recommendation and I love it but these 2 new ones look so good I’m torn

I totally get what you mean! I really wish they at least gave us .1 oz of product! Also hmmm that’s a good question, my choices right now would be kulfi, iris & romeo or the Victoria Beckham beauty concealer! I know that’s more than 1-2 but I felt like since one of my options was the VBB one I needed to add another one in there 😂

The only time I get creasing from the kulfi concealer is if my eye cream is too creamy! Also if I don’t let it sit for a minute before blending it out. The creasing is very minimal tho! If I let it sit for 1 minutes have no issues. Even if it does crease it’s very minimal. Hope that helps!

I couldn't see anything. Swatches need to be close-ups. Especially if they're going to say how well it blends into the skin. How are we supposed to see something that blends in so far away?

How does one really know if any product is worth it? That's the question😅 Wo testing dozens of the available concealers one can't compare. And at what point are slight differences irrelevant. And do the people asking really have these immense issues w the concealers they already paid for? I own 4 different Tarte concealers and and I like them all. None creases, none looks cakey. Some cover more than others, or are thinner but that's about it... Would it make any sense for me to try another one that doesn't even have a shade match for me when I have zero issues with the concealers I already own? Probably not

$68 for a concealer?! VB no. I love you but no. That’s just messed up. Westman’s foundation stick costs $68 and honestly, you could even use that as a concealer too! Don’t like the packaging either. And look at how much product you get. I got an in person shade match for the Westman concealer and wore it for 3 hours (had to go to bed) and I was very pleased. I’ll buy that.
