I've been at GP Palace and never had any problem! Golf carts are to everybody not only the trains! Check-in was easy and fast. A big tip...always be nice and smile and every employe will be nice to you. The food its amazing.

The golf cart is only available for members, while non-members have to use the broken down train during check-in and check-out that's the only time non members us the cart

I have videos that the hotel has asked me to take down. They have even offered me a chance to stay at another Palladium because they know I am not going back to the one in the Dominican Republic. Those people are dangerous.

My family still has trauma from our experience at that hotel. We were harassed on the beach and at the pool, and pressured by locals to make purchases. A staff member at the pool was disrespectful to us when we declined to buy an excursion. Additionally, we were scammed by the membership representatives. It seems that the hotel has members working there who contribute to the unpleasant atmosphere.

I just came back at the end of August and stayed in the Palladium Palace. So for the golf carts, this was our first time going to this resort. We are not a part of the travel club or anything. We used the golf carts majority of the time getting around. Regular customers could use them with no problems. We rarely use the train. We would flag down a cart if needed or ask at the lobby to get one for us. We even got some phone numbers of some of the staff and would call them personally to pick us up in a cart. We had a swim up room and personally we thought the AC was too cold. We thought the temp of the room was great and never used the fan or the AC. Dinner reservations we had to do in person and not over the phone. We called and asked. But we did not have to go to guest services. In the main lobby there was a special desk for dinner reservations and we never waited on line. We always kept the do not disturb sign on the door. The staff does respect it. When asking them to fix our jacuzzi tub they told us we had to remove the DND sign first before they could enter. Also if that sign is on the bar service will not come to the room to refill the mini bar fridge. The maids do not do it. And finally I agree I would not look for the lobby for entertainment. I would go to the shows. Or Chic Cabaret. It is pricy but so worth it. We boked again for next year.

I had there terrible food poisoning, my friend almost died. Ambulance kept coming every few minutes. Never again!!

Con todos los incompetentes que pasamos mis familiares y yo voy de nuevo para TRS. Esta manejado por muchas gentes buena y trabajadora pero muchos se aprovechan para obtener su parte, el hotel entero es hermoso, hay de todo, puede moverte por todos los lugares, se disfruta, se vive, pero repito, el hotel está manejado por una red de aprovechados que le podían hacer colapsar, yo hable con uno de ellos y lo puse en atención. El hotel es 5 _5 , pero hay empleados aprovechadores.

Nights are warm, especially in the summer. During winter the pool water is a bit “cold” but warm the rest of the year. I wouldn’t know how to compare it to Cancun because we haven’t been YET 🙂 -Ari
