Queen Ursula of the EU wants an inventory of everyone’s assets. My question is how would wealthy people (ie. millionaires) agree to this? I talked to a bank financial advisor and he dismissed the idea of CBDCs as though he either didn’t know or didn’t want to say. Kraken has the best platform and support, but their taxes are really insane. 0.25% maker and 0.40% taker. If we want to fight with the banks we can not accept such taxes in the ecosystem. In the other top-layer exchanges, those taxes are 2-4x less.

Wow this is an eye-opener and educational but I am still cautious about making leaps of assumption on any extreme motives of government. I think a lot of people underestimate the symbiotic mutual benefits many of our federal departments/ programs have with the people who use their services. Sometimes it’s a delayed or indirect benefit that keeps the whole “ship” floating rather than an immediate local benefit that many people are only aware of. Im starting to see that major solutions to the our economic challenges will have to include mutual coordination of citizens in most of the powerful countries in the world. So it also means having a path to world peace and global enforcement to maintain the peace. Until then, centralized powers may be necessary for survivability but having a money that’s truly borderless like Bitcoin may be the start.

Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if XAI24T rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates.
