This week Govberg and WatchBox merged with several ADs to form the 1916 Corporation. 1916 is only going to sell Rolex CPO watches. What impact will this have on Delray Watch and other grey marketers? This means that the supply of pre-owned watches younger than 3 years old should increase. What do you say?

My wife has a Superocean II 36 and was wearing it until last year when a co-worker sold her an applewatch cheap (cuz she won it and already had one). My wife wears the Breitling sparingly now but wont part with it. 🙈 And she has veto power with any buying and selling of watches. I picked up two watches this year so my collection is still growing. 😎

Frist time my new girlfriend asked me what watch I could recommend I replied „what is important to you?“. Well - it was the opposite of what I like and love. So I explained to her the reasons why I am so fascinated about this or that. I believe my passion made her change her mind and she went me to the AD and looked at two options I believed would be perfect for her. And she felt in love with both. But as it was the first luxury watch for her she had chosen the Nomos over the Tank Solarbeat. For price reason although I was ready to pay for it. That reminded me how dangerous and crazy this hobby is. Looking back it seems that I have lost any contact to reality when it comes to watch prices 😂

I feel that the good things that Cartier have done in relation to their bracelet & straps has very much been undone by their obsession over size. I do not like the larger & lager case sizes, I think they have taken a lot of the beauty & elegance out of the watch. I had a Galbee, I now have a Santos 100 but wouldn't be tempted to buy any of their newer Santos models. The Santos was always about quiet sophistication, now it's like the annoying, noisey kid everyone had in their class at school.
