Yes, now all appliances and things are built with planned obsolescence in mind so they break down eventually and you buy more. There were companies in the 50's and 60's that went out of business because their product was so good they lasted for years and you never bought one and they went out of business. With 3d printing and the new technology sometimes you can repair old stuff now.

I relate to the story about the dryer. My mom's old dryer (in Harvest Gold, so it was from the 70's) caught fire, i put out the fire, clothes were fine, cleaned out the LINT that was decades old that she never cleaned out... The dryer still worked! I think she still uses it. new appliances are garbage, best bet if you buy new to get the most no-frills machine you can find and pray.

I woke up during both of my colonoscopys. First colonoscopy in 2013 I saw the HD monitor they used to view of my colon and heard the one nurse say I had the cleanest colon theyve ever seen. During my second one in 2018 I woke up twice and didn't know where I was and they had to hold me down and increase the knockout gas to put me down.

I remember one year when I was a kid, trick or treating with my friends. There was a group of 16+ year olds' , who were driving around in a Ford pick-up truck,, with one or two of them in the back of the box, shooting 8-ball fireworlks at kids heads and laughing like maniacs. This was probably late 80's. In Canada, when the weather was like -10c. Over here, fireworks are generally sold as a seasonal thing. You could only buy them around October to December. They were not available to buy at any other time of the year.

We’re on our third washing machine in two years because the Mrs ,jam packs it full , she just Won’t listen that you can’t put 12 kg of washing in two or 3.5 kg washing machine. I used to skate but some days I just feel like going down to the skate park and jumping into the bowl headfirst, like that grandma you witnessed a few years ago bithead , still my favourite bithead tale of all time .love your work bithead . This show is not just entertainment but therapy! It's at least reassuring to know that I am not the only one with constant life problems. lol Lot's of rain here lately, I go for a drive and I hear this sloshing around and thought that is weird, Usually don't hear petrol/gas sloshing around. Next day I see this trail of liquid from the car all over the driveway, Doesn't smell like petrol, Just happen to open one of the car doors and there it is again sloshing noise WTF? Freaking all 4 car doors full of water, Not just a bit I am talking litres in each door. I fire up the old air compressor run the hose out and blow air into the car door drainage holes, Sure enough all full of mud/leaves, Out comes several litres of water. Going to take a week for the car floor to dry out in the back where it leaked in from build up in door. So just a reminder to check your car door/window drainage holes once in a while even if your car isn't old, Might be blocked especially if you park anywhere near tress/bushes!
