It's not the expanded playoffs that led to more chaos, it's conference realignment. Not only does that have Texas and Oregon being part of the big 2, the SOS within conferences are so different because they are so large.

After this season's rankings nobody should ever knock a team for a weak non-conference schedule and any team who schedules a tough non-conference opponent is stupid.

Oregon's offense didn't play great, but the defense was lights out even without their arguably best defensive player. If Georgia gets credit for their defense winning games for them when their offense is playing terrible, then Oregon should be held to the same standard. And let's face it, Oregon's offense has far outpaced Georgia's offense. Oregon is a complete team.

A SEC title is the reason Georgia, Alabama, LSU play the game. Teams that has never won a natty in 50 years, probaly aint won a conference title in 50 years.

An SEC team still has a better chance than Boise State to earn a top-4 seed. Boise State=61%. Alabama+Texas+other SEC>78%.

Make the sec the only conference in College Football and make every team play against all the sec schools to see if they are good enough to compete with the sec teams, because the sec is going to get a excuse/ pass no matter what happens. Maybe every year only sec schools should be able to compete for a National Championship. GO NOLES, even in the bad times.

The sec and the big 10 are the 2 conferences with the most money and no body/ no other conference really matters bottom line unless you're Notre Dame, Army, Navy, Air Force. It's all about money.
