Im such a fan of Butch Walker. Idk how much of his songs are real life experiences and how much is just human kindness and empathy, but they hit me in a place that few artists ever reach. What an artist! What a man!

Love the whole thing. Love the album. Love the message. But, REALLY loved the imaginary guitar solo. Good stuff, Butch!

Well that was amazing, love this album so much. Consistently the best drum sounds around too, ever since that impossible-to-replicate snare from the Lets Go Out Tonites

I've been a fan of yours for a little over a decade now and you're amazing as both a musician and songwriter, but this album hit me hard. The emotion and even the music behind the words gets me teary eyed on a few different songs. It's about as perfect as I can imagine perfection is, musically speaking. Thank you, Mr. Walker.

I'm a fairly conservative person. Raised mainly in the bible belt. I've learned that you don't have to agree with everyone's views. Try to love everyone. With that being said, "Out Here In The Open" is one of the best written songs I have heard in a long time. I know this album won't be for everyone. If you come across this video, keep in mind he wrote this in 2018, and released it in May of 2020. He sat on it, thinking that the songs would date themselves out of relevance. Here we are, now October 2020, and we are so divided. My first reaction was "Not another protest/angsty/preachy liberal artist", but knowing that this comes from a totally different direction than most of the current artists speaking out for their own agenda... this feels very authentic...this isn't fan service, nor is this a way to focus attention on him. It's gives a lot to think about. God Bless people like Butch Walker, Jason Isbell, and Taylor Goldsmith(Dawes), for restoring my faith in great, GREAT songwriters.

Have you ever thought about putting out a karaoke version of your music. In the whole of karaoke is "My Way" & Freak Of The Week. Which are both awesome songs, just want there to be plethora of your music available. I'm sure there are plenty of your fans who would love to sing more of your music at their local karaoke joint. If you see this Butch please consider it & as always keep rocking us fans!! We appreciate you!!!

Hi Butch -- it's not easy to find a way to talk to you directly, so this will have to do. I saw your Klipsch promo piece, and noticed that when you play bass your left hand's a smidge lazy and tends to be a little bit late. You pluck the string before your fretting finger is all the way down, resulting in more junk and less punch in your sound. Easy to fix, just practice playing in time with your left hand only. You'll get a fuller, fatter, punchier sound that you don't have to work on as much when you mix. Cheers, bh.

I love BW but 12 mins in and its feeling like he's raging against a meme. I've only ever seen a MAGA hat on tv/internet. btw live in South Carolina. kinda bummed.
@marvinmyers2373 жыл бұрын
I'm in Georgia. I've seen more than a few MAGA hats around my little town. I think they're more for when they're around other people of that mindset. I also went to high school with at least two people who took part in the attack on Capitol Hill. I also see old friends of mine passing along Q bullshit via their social media. So, it's VERY real...
