I noticed wifey is not all in but very respectful. I’m from Ghana living and working in the ole USA. I came to the USA on a student visa. Completed my masters in accounting and currently working but I’ve never felt like home here. I always tell my wife I’d e moving back to Ghana soon since I’ve almost completed my house in Ghana and intend to start a business when I go back. My wife loves it in the USA and I understand so I promise I’m waiting for my kids to complete college then I’m off the wheels. You did your best to stay and you should know it’s not easy to live in Africa due to many factors including lack of jobs, infrastructure, etc. Africa is the best place to be if you have a good job. Otherwise, very difficult.

Thanks so much for the comment.......We loved Ghana. I don't know if you have seen our previous videos going there. To be honest, if were an easier transition there, that would be the spot. I understand the challenge of getting wifey on board!!

Hi! thanks for viewing and commenting! Out of curiosity have you ever lived in either of the tow countires for an extended period. Some perspectives change with the actual living experience, however you are mostly correct. There are some states and cities in the US that are less clean than Kigali. There is clutter in some areas and regions of Rwanda that I saw as we made our way out of the major city. But the capital is essentially SPOTLESS. Its safer BY FAR in terms of violent crime and theft. Hands down because gun owndership is illegal. However vehicular tragedies occur where traffic laws are not enforced or obsered adn there are many motorcycle accidents due to chaotic driving , unfortunatley. I just want to be balanced. Fresh food and the prevalence of activity and walking make it extremely healthy too! We appreciate your feedback and we appreciate the values of Rwanda!

It will always and forever hold a special place in our hearts. There are people we love dearly there and the quality of life, views, climate, organization and cleanliness are top notch on the continent. Safe travels and hope to meet you here or there!

As a Nigerian who has lived in England and America , moving to a developing country in Africa , if you are not working for the American Embassy or a large international company is very difficult ! There are very few jobs and the ones available are so low paid that they would not support a lifestyle most Americans would be comfortable with ! You stated that you had gotten your license as a PT . Was the plan to work in Rwanda as I do not think the pay would have been anywhere close to what you were making on line teaching ! For us Immigrants coming over to the US it is the opposite as we are able to take advantage of the myriad of opportunities and the high pay that comes with our educational level! I think it must have been a eye opening , life changing experience that very few Americans experience , as I notice that very few Americans travel Internationally. I hope you will be able to go back eventually if that is still the dream!

Thank you so much for your comment. The insight is valuable, and I can relate to much of what you have said. I would have been making more as a PT then we were making tutoring online at the time. However, if tutoring, opportunities and bookings were consistent where I would be working a 48 hour day then that income would have been more than one as a PT. We appreciate you watching and giving us your feedback!

I think it's extremely hard when you have a small family and a big family!!! I think if you are a single person or a couple you should be able to make it as long as both parties have an income...one thing I have learned from watching all these videos about living in Africa is to have a stable income... it's not easy when you're trying to live in another country and don't really have the finances...well at least you know now what you're dealing with...I'm planning on visiting first...then I will make my decision but I will have several businesses before I move anywhere!!!

@gwamakangwala9244 There is no magic in Africa! If you are not happy in the US its likely you will not be happy over there e .Its not Wakanda or The Lion King ,many people in AFRICA ARE JUST AS UNHAPPY AND DISASTISFIED WITH LIFE !
@ReclaimingOurIdentity Жыл бұрын
I didn't say we have to deal with "hearing" gunshots as you said@@josephbrown1573 , I said dealing with gunshots everyday. And statistically in the US a gun is shot literally every single day! Even if we don't exactly live in a place where we hear them daily. It is a daily occurrence in this country.

Thanks so much for watching. Who said that we were unprepared? We were prepared. AS WAS STATED IN THE VIDEO, the reason we came back is because GOD didn't want us there beyond that time. You know, some people actually believe in being obedient to Him, even if it may not make sense to everybody else.
