Yes Gisenyi is a great place to start a business. It's smaller than the capitol Kigali but more touristy because of the lake. Rwanda has several cities in each provence that are earmarked for business development by the government. They're all part of Rwanda's master city plan.

Pig farming is big business here. But it is expensive to raise pigs sustainably and humanly. I hear it lucrative to raise and export pigs from Rwanda to the DRC.
