Also by using specific types of sunscreen over others. Zinc works better than oxybenzone, which actually promotes the formation of sunspots, if I'm remembering the right chemical. I stopped using a certain face sunscreen and finally the age spot I'd had for years went away, after I'd tried numerous products that didn't work.
