I can not agree more. Now that I have made the decision to make Christ the main focus in my life. I have noticed a huge difference. My patience has increased. Stress and anger decreased. I can’t express enough what spending an hour a day of just filling your spiritual bucket can do for you.

The algorithm suggested this video to me. I skipped over it for several weeks because I was unfamiliar with the content producer. Finally listened to it and discovered that this is the exact kind of content that I need! This is awesome stuff. It is uplifting, and edifying and left me wanting more. It is the antidote for the depressing and sad content that is so pervasive on the internet today. Please keep producing these kinds of messages.

Listened to this driving home from a family cruise in California at 3am and man I can’t thankyou enough for constantly doing so much to produce content that is so long-term motivating. I would watch this every day🙌🏽 I guess it’s time to get to studying! 😂📖

I love how you talked about how willingly people will accept the story or experience of a disaffected member yet we don't treat the prophets the same way. It's interesting how quickly some are to accept anything a random person on social media says yet we cynically look at the words of the prophets. Nice thought!

Thanks so much for the content. As a life-long member, about eight years ago I started to make feasting on the word of Christ a priority in my life. I moved my study time from before bed (which didn't happen real often) to the beginning of the day. I started to spend time allowing my faith to become intentional as President Nelson taught us. My life has been changed by the grace of Jesus Christ. I have been transformed in so many ways. If I miss my morning spiritual feast, I am hungry for the word. Once again, thanks for all you are doing.

What a pleasant surprise to awaken to a KZbin alert for this video. “Seek and ye shall find…” has been echoing in my mind over the last few weeks. This presentation is based on that, we will truly become what we seek. It’s humbling. Thank you for sharing! Jeremiah 29:13 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Matthew 7:7 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Now I need to prioritize the scriptures over all these excellent LDS KZbin channels I listen to while driving. They do not replace deep, individual, focused study with the companionship of the Holy Ghost. Thank you.

I’ve recently made that shift too, I love consuming lds KZbin channels too but have found a new depth lately focusing on scriptures. Grateful for the lds KZbinrs tho that have pushed me to get more active in the scriptures 🙌

I loved all the video and I wanted more! So thorough and based on the scriptures! Thank you for pointing out the main idea of what the apostles are trying to teach. another eye openerwere were the polls you showed and the scripture study. I will remember it to improve my studies. And Pte Nelson’s challenge to study all you could about Jesus in the topical guide, I did it and it also changed my life. I want to become a true millennial 💕

I've been away from the church for 35 years and am far from a millennial. But I have been slogging my way thru podcasts that are wasting my time and energy. Please please please keep the purity of what you are doing now. Don't do anything like the others. I never lost my testimony, but have been looking for regular help via podcast to supplement my daily intake (outside of my own head) that isn't all the negative input from outside sources. Most LDS podcasts invite these forces onto their shows. In the name of common beliefs and understanding. Please don't do that. You have a gift and talent at how you present the food that makes the feast so much easier for me who is out of practice. Thank you for today's feast!

My son introduced me to your channel and I'm so glad! He is in your ward. I'm binging everything you've done so far! Very inspiring! This topic is perfect timing for me. A few years ago I cancelled mainstream TV into my home, stopped all social media (Facebook etc) I won't go into why I did this but I was astonished at the difference it made in the feeling of my home. My friends thought I was crazy. They were like...what do you do all day? 😆. I didn't know at first. My TV (news, talk shows etc) was always playing in the background of my life. I hardly ever watched it but it felt like it was keeping me company. Now I see it differently. The constant background noise was keeping me from reflecting on my life or even thinking if that makes sense. I was using it as a means to not think and by extension to not feel the spirit. Then... I replaced it with KZbin 🤦 I decided to take up your challenge and really look at what I'm consuming on KZbin. I was both pleasantly surprised and horrified. I do follow a lot of Latter-day Saint podcasts, Come follow me podcasts, Church news and I love to listen to past General Conferences and inspirational writings of Church scholars interspersed with the latest in gardening. 😅 One might think I'm doing pretty good spiritually right? Wrong! Your analysis of how reading the scriptures correlates to our well-being was an eye opener for me. In this I am sadly lacking. But no more! It's good but not good enough to listen to others quoting scripture. I've read the Book of Mormon several times but I had forgotten about the spiritual experiences I had and how I felt during those times. I want to thank you for reminding me and for explaining this in a way that touched my heart and understanding. God bless you in your efforts! Thank you! ❤

@@TrueMillennial Thank you for your kind words. My son has a different last name BTW. His name is Chance Gurr. I spent some time with him yesterday and made sure to thank him for sharing your channel with me. ❤️ The video he sent me was about David Alexander telling me that David spoke in your fireside. I was blown away because I've been following David from the beginning. Coincidence? I don't believe in coincidences. That was quite the "get" being able to work it out for him to speak. His story is phenomenal! I also think that what you are doing is phenomenal! Thank you for following through on your promise to the Lord to share His gospel. ❤️

Thank you!! Love this!! Please put out more videos. I listen to a lot of you tube, unshaken, Christian Homestead, watcher palmer, cwic and now yours. I study and listen pretty much everyday from 7 to 10 @ night. I do genealogy almost everyday. About 2018 or so, after listening to conference I realized I needed to focus more on Christ and declutter worldly things. I use to watch a lot of TV series and decided that I needed to get rid of all of it because it took away time from Christ, whether hearing the spirit, study, and so forth. I can tell a big difference as I cut out all of it and started focusing better, doors of knowledge opened up to me!! I felt free, uplifted, could feel Him more. It truly is amazing when we focus on Him, He will truly focus on us. Love the topic of the second coming.

Thanks so much for your video. I have stopped watching news daily because I only grow anxious about things I can't change. Thanks for this thought-provoking post. It definitely made me think about the imbalance in my own life! I would like to add that I don't believe in coincidences! Saying something is a coincidence takes God out of the equation. It is no coincidence that we are blessed when we obey the prophet and it is no coincidence that we are not blessed when we turn to worldly things like the internet. Coincidences are things that happen by chance. People who don't believe in God use "coincidence" to explain something that is unexplainable. Nothing in this world is by chance. We either follow God and are blessed or we don't follow him and reap the consequences. I believe we can explain everything with what we know about God and his laws.

Recently discovered your channel. Great content! My goal this year is to listen to the BoM all 52 weeks. I'm about to complete week 16, absolute game changer. Using Obsidian to record all of my impressions. Feasting is the Lord's way, it is the pattern we are to live by. In scripture, We learn of the Feast of Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, the Feast of the Harvest, the Feast of Trumpets, and the Feast of Tabernacles. If this isn’t enough we are beckoned to feast upon that which perisheth not (2 Ne 9:51), to feast upon the words of Christ (2 Ne 32:3), to feast upon his love (Jac 3:2), to feast upon the fruit that is pure above all that is pure (Alma 32:42) and to hunger and thirst after righteousness. (Matt 5:6)

Sri. It's not that cut and dried with the amount of time dedicated to reading scripture. I combined scriptures with social media and have friends that promote religious ideas with social media so it's a workable mix for me. Most LDS members are so uptight with their "time blocks" that they miss opportunities to be influenced spiritually.
