Now that 170 Euros plus jerseys seem to have become the norm, shouldn't we expect top quality, long lasting garments? And if not, then why not buy the 40 Euro equivalent?

Every shirt, jacket, or jersey I've owned with seem less welds, tend to do the same thing. The bond just doesn't hold up for long, but it's a nice feeling when it's not falling apart.

Good review mate. I'm hearing a lot of great things about Siroko 👍

It's good stuff at a good price! Very fast delivery too.

Spot on - I found this with Pas Normal Studio clothing - fashion over substance . Their bibs just fell apart !! As for their customer service - terrible! 😞

yeah, at these prices if they don't stand 100% behind the product, then forget it.

Same here the older I get the more frugal I get but I never had any problems with my Assos gear can’t say the same for Castelli
@CyclespeedTours Жыл бұрын
I'm happy to splash the cash if it's worth it, and you get a quality product, but annoying when you don't. Yes, ASsos are always excellent, Castelli a notch down, but I do love their Free Aero Race shorts.

I fixed the seams on a rapha jersey with a thin bead of clear silicone. Just enough so it don't squeeze out when you clamp it with two little strips of wood the same length as the repair. A bit bodge but it's held together so far.

Well worth trying. It seems it's either that or a mostly perfect jersey is going in the bin!

Thats why I buy MAAP quality never fails to impress especially with how much I beat my kit up after every adventure.

When I ride I wear regular T-shirt and shorts from Lidl. I'm not pro nor compete in any sort of race so why bother?
@CyclespeedTours Жыл бұрын
No problem with that! But proper cycle clothes do dry sweat quicker, and have less drag. Always nice to go a bit faster!

Maap and Rapha are seriously overpriced.I only buy it when heavily discounted. Have you tried La Passione? Very good quality and decent price when discounted. Only downside is you need to spend a lot to get free shipping.
@CyclespeedTours Жыл бұрын
Yes I do have a couple of La Passione items, but in that price range I prefer Monton, Siroko, and Gobik.

Buy a Coospo. Mine was under 100 usd. Syncs up with hr monitor, candence and speed , and any of my powermeters. Not a color touch screen, but of well. It does work. All the time. It uploads to strava. Done with all the high priced bike computers. If course, you will lose respect from all your cycling friends because it’s not like the cool garmins. But oh well. It works

Take some photos of faulty Rapha jersey and email their customer service. They have been excellent with me. I’ve complained about 3 items in past and each time I’ve been given a voucher for 50% of original cost
@CyclespeedTours Жыл бұрын
Good to know, but shouldn't they just replace it?
@LaDeigo Жыл бұрын
@@CyclespeedTours doubt they would replace after 18 months of wear. I kept damaged items, repaired them & bought in sale using vouchers
@CyclespeedTours Жыл бұрын
@@LaDeigo the thing is though, it's a structural failure of their construction method. Not wear and tear. And as I have many jerseys, I probably only wore this about twenty times.

small would be tight, which is how it's supposed to be, and M would be also fone, but a bit more relaxed.
