Yeah I really like watching this when I drive my car, it's basically like listening to podcasts and you explain it so clear that I don't need to watch the video. Also when I do watch I always wish you could zoom in sometimes to the board, but that's just me

The risk of zooming in is missing something that occurred during gameplay that I didn't catch in the moment. I think I figured out how I can capture multiple screens during gameplay and record them. So I can zoom in and have the full screen too!

Great commentary. You should read the Mirage discovery card again. "Place the Mirage planet token in this system. Gain the Mirage planet card and ready it. Then, purge this card " You didn't need antimass to get it, as you already should have had it, but given the amount of pds on the board and the potential of someone stealing it given your secret its still a good tech for the situation.

Actually I believe that when you find mirage In the frontier deck it tells you to take the planet card. So you don't need mass deflector (or infantry for that matter) to satisfy your objective. It sometimes makes Mirage into a liability because it's so vulnerable.

I'm a person that has no interest in hearing the endless haggling and debating in TI4 of games I'm not participating in. I think you should re-think your comment about leadership being the worst strategy card. As you make that comment, you're also taking leadership to score a non-objective point. I could write a whole dissertation about the greatness of leadership, but I'll spare you. Regardless of any disagreements with your play or playstyle, going to sub for the best TI4 content creator. Your format is just the best. More please :D

True about leadership. I think I mostly dislike it because it doesn't provide you with something special / unique (outside of going first which isnt typically critical).

The Titans player made a couple of mistakes on his Flagship at home build action during Round 2. Home systems have no type so they cannot be explored, and the timing of his abilities makes it so that he can turn a Sleeper Token into a PDS and then turn that PDS into a Flagship. So they really should never pay for a flagship. But anyway, I love seeing these TI4 vids of yours, had been waiting for a PoK one :) Great content

Titans player here. I'm sure I made a ton of mistakes that game but this is something I actually planned for. I used the secondary of construction round one to place a pds at home and round two when I built at home I replaced that pds with the flagship.

If the timing is such that you can place a pds on the board first and replace it immediately with the flagship then that was definely a waste of a command counter to do the secondary of construction though.

Great video :). On round 2 you could've used your agent on construction to place a *ghost* command token on one of your systems to build a space dock on it. Not even accounting for payment you could've asked ghost for in exchange for this. This agent is best used with construction because it's the only strategy card that directly places a command token.

Ya, I realized this towards the end of the video. That using their token means you can lock down a system from them (and not you). Also realized my hero unlocks on scoring 2 objectives... really wish I could have made 2 players death match!

Really interesting to see and hear your thoughts no the game. One thing that would be helpful for me to follow better, dont know how or if its possibile, would be some overviews of the techs other players are getting. Some moves they make are quite suprising to me because i did not realise they got gravity drive for example. Anyway cant wait to see your next playthrough!

In about 4 games of PoK, 2tg for a relic seems about the going rate. you see why this is the rate because of the range of quality that the relics have. in terms of how many promissory notes you can give, it is one per transaction. since you voted for him for a promissory, you can recieve one at that time. as it was titan's turn to vote after that, you could have initiated a new transaction, since it was a new vote (just like it would be his turn during a round) and he should have given it to you at that time. fantastic discussion; the hacan player is clearly a newer player; really disappointed in argent start to this game as he had the potential for so much more. loved this content, izi sub. i am Mr Positivity in the discord and look forward to playing a game with you! edit: i love how every single round, you consider how to extract additional value from your strategy card. smart man! not enough people leverage their card enough. as soon as i made this edit, i saw that Gump say "I'm not a smart man" after terraform oops. Ya he was new but a very enjoyable person to play with. Especially towards the end, he "stayed in the game" even when it was clear he wouldn't win. The birds hit me as a faction I'd initially enjoy due to the destroyer 1 capacity. Not really sure which of the new factions I would enjoy most though.

Yassaril bio-stims to steal 2 action cards a round plus an extra stale to the card stale, also the red ai dev is pretty good with bio with the right faction that gets a lot of unit upgrades

If you look at the galaxy created and break it up into 6 sections (like pizza), that's a slice. Idk how it started, it usually references your own "section" of the galaxy.

All systems were you have the shortest non-wormhole distance is your slice. The system with an equal distance between you and your neighbour is an "equidistant" and reason for diplomacy, trade and war. In a six player game your slice are the system next to your homesystem + the one two jumps forward next to Mecatol. The two systems one forward and one left/right are equidistant.

Bio-Stim let's you unexhaust 1 planet which has a tech skip. Its one of the new green techs.
