Simple answer - YES - I’ve been exercising and weight training for nearly 40 years, always naturally, no trt, most I’ve done is creatine, protein, etc. These women are more jacked than I’ve ever been, even in my best shape at 5’8”, 175lbs and 8% body fat. Cross fit, Hollywood stars, influencers, general gym meatheads, etc. - ALL JUICING, I challenge anyone to find ANY truly clean athlete these days, there’s too much money involved in the whole system and the temptation of reward is far greater than the short term risks.

Personally I feel a bit sorry for amateurs who do something fundamentally healthy and positive for their wellbeing, and then undo so much of that with roids - purely to paper over the cracks in their self confidence. Doing you 100% and ignoring everyone else is a path to a far happier life imo

I'm super careful now but as an older guy I wish I could go back and undo some of the damage from my younger years and these roids could help me get there. I've been training since before crossfit came along. It would be rare would see a women that looked as jacked as many do now in person. When crossfit came there would be one or two at these gyms that were clearly stand outs i.e huge traps/back/delts, always would compete/be gym owners. Now in the bodybuilding space I'd say about 5 years ago I started seeing a similar physique of gen pop females in more commercial gyms where as you would never before unless they were the girlfriend of one of the big guy bodybuilders.

In the UK it's legal to use them but not to sell them. Some drugs such as tren were legally produced for animal usage but are illegal for animal use across Europe now. You can't legalise dangerous drugs. There might be safer ways of making the body grow muscle without steroids. There is some current research around this. Anavar is a prescribed drug for burns patients but only in small doses. Testosterone is safe in small doses for replacement purposes or for transitioners. However, any addition T will affect the pituitary gland and then the testicles' ability to produce natural testosterone. I take TRT (40mg a day) because my body was no longer producing sufficient Testosterone. The benefits are there but it's nothing like taking huge doses. 😊

My issue with steroids is other men using them against me. I don't want the side effects and I don't want the long term health problems associated. But if I do triathlon, I'm up against amateurs who are juiced to the gills and now I don't qualify. Or worse if I play rugby, I'm a very fit 12 stone and I'm going to be smashed by a 17 stone opposing winger. The result is I can't play at any level, because at all levels I will be injured/eliminated by idiots juicing. And those same juicers are liars. They will never admit to taking so we could have a clean league. They'd infiltrate it. Juicers ruin sport for everyone else. They are dishonest and selfish. That's why they are loathed by everyone else.

Great Common Sense. Also worth considering how the PED scene has changed in my lifetime. I grew up in the golden age (ok, a golden age) of Arnie and co. He‘s a couple of years younger than me. Still looks better, too, although I‘m working on it. The comparison of the variety and quantity of PED‘s used then and now is enormous, with a consequent increase in the health risks. And in my opinion, the „improvement“ in physiques doesn‘t match. Any of the great bodybuilders of the 60‘s to 80‘s look far better than the shredded mass monsters of today. Many of them look during competition as if they are a heartbeat away from collapse.

Nice video! One other consideration I feel outside of drugs is simply that on platforms such as KZbin which has over 1 billion viewers, there will be natural people who are way stronger and bigger than most people, even people who are on steroids. Naturally, their videos get watched more and it then appears in our feed that everyone is better than us. Every influencer on KZbin appears to be deadlifting 500lbs, how realistic is that as an expectation for most people? Hell, I can find 70-year-old guys deadlifting 500lbs and 75-year-old grannies who took up weight training 2 years ago deadlifting 225lb! KZbin and other such platforms show the best in the world and when we compare ourselves of course we will be disheartened. The only thingis to realize is that out of millions and millions of weight traniers, powerflifters, strong men and body builders the best will dominate in the video view stakes and we should not compare ourselves to them.

The best method is to train once every 5-6 days full body and train muscle/muscle group until it feels beat up how ever many sets or reps that takes with moderate/to moderately heavy weight. Then eat mostly natural foods and rest a lot in between workouts. In 2 years you will have a solid foundation/physique.... in 4-5 years you will be super diesel/strong.

Alan Richson (Reacher) has been transparent about getting on testosterone therapy and how much easier that made training for season 2 than it was for season 1. There's two great interviews with him on Michael Rosenbaum's show. I have no issue with people using testosterone or steroids safely, preferably with a doctor. Nor am I bothered by people using ibuprofen when they have injuries and headaches. What bothers me more is people who have a headache and refuse to try ibuprofen or paracetamol, because they don't like taking drugs. That's infuriating. They'll probably also tell you they've been drinking coffee so they can't be dehydrated and don't need a proper drink of water.

Habitual caffeine intake is not dehydrating though. But I get your point.

Taking steroids to make them a better athlete or for the career (actors etc) is fine. What isn't fine is juiced up PTs or influencers selling programmes to 'be like them'
