How to get the good ending: After removing the handcuff, you have to go to the room where dad is patroling. His spotlight is faster than you, so you have to hide behind objects to progress. There is also a cupboard with a flashlight you need to progress(otherwise you'll have to return later to get it) Once you get to the door on the other side, you can see the locked door to the basement and your phone(which he took away). When you use the phone, he comes over there to investigate. You have to hide in the closet, and when he looks at the phone you have to do a pick-pocketing minigame. Once you get his key, you have to hide until he returns to his patrol room. Then you can use the key to access the basement and you can use the flashlight to find the metal detector. Once you did that, you have to return to the hallway next to your room through dad's patrol room. After unlocking the door with a makeshift key, you have to use the metal detector to play a minigane where you have to listen for the detector's beeps and avoid the mines. If you get through this, you get a cutscene of you running away from the house, with dad looking out the window. Once you're far away, he says "I guess i raised a winner after all. Hahahaha!" Chapter 2 is when the dad starts going insane and one day is enlightened by something (explained in chapter 5), thus, torturing his 3 children and making them "real men". Our protag is one of them.

So a lot of people have been struggling on this game so I decided to give a full length tutorial on how to beat it, first off you have to beat the minesweeper game during the cutscene, that unlocks the room where you see the dad spinning and you're free to walk around. You have to hide in closests scattered across the room to avoid dad's gaze, one you reach the opposite end of the room you'll see a twinkling object like at 2:20. Interacting with it gives you a red flag, then you can do what the video does and exit the house. when the flag is in your inventory you'll be able to see where the landmine is. You then have to use the flag when next to the landmine which deactivates leaving you free exit and beat the game. hope this helped you.

@@Otherface the numbers in the squares indicate how many bombs there are in the direct ratio of 1 space around the square with a number, you use that info combined with the other numbered squares around to figure out were the bombs are, then you mark with a flag the space where you think the bomb is and repeat.
