But truthfully, now that I've watched the video, this is a really brilliant and concise explanation of the history of education and the bona fide program's place in it. Thank you :-) As has been settled already, there's nothing in that program that your people wouldn't already know from having watched your educational videos. But you do get a fancy card :-)

@ErikWait, I just passed the WSET Spirit L2 60 question practice test 55 out of 60 questions. I think your videos are enough Erik. I used the same study info as I did for the WSET L1 test.

I just took the WSET Spirits L1 class and exam. I'm sure I passed and did well. Mostly due to Erik's channel.

@ErikWait, I just took an online 60 question WSET L1 Spirits sample test and missed 6 questions, should have been 5. I did that by watching your videos, life experience, no class time and some self study of some spirits. So I don't think I'd need this online class.

Erik. Question. Oce I tried singleton 12 it was 10 years ago. It was oily. Whra makes whiskey oily? Is it considered good? In my opinion i was nice. What whiskey are famous for that oily feeling?

If a whisky is not chill filtered it may have an oily or silky feel because they did not remove the fatty solids from the whisky. But, those solids can make a whisky cloudy when the whisky is chilled or put on ice. So, if a whisky is intended to be used in a cocktail or is a grain spirit it will be chil filtered, typically if it is under 46% abv.

It is meant to be a joke. In wearing it, it actually prevents pretentiousness. If you can wear this huge cumbersome thing around your neck and act like a whiskey snob then you’ve got serious mental issues.
