Jordi El Niño Polla Salvation scriptures: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-9kjv “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9-13kjv “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38‬ ‭KJV ‭‭ ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬, Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬, As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Luke‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, And the greatest verses in the Bible yet… “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” ‭‭John‬ ‭3:16-19kjv “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬ www.bible.com/1/2co.6.2.kjv ‭‭John‬ ‭3:36‬ ‭KJV‬‬, He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Acts‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Romans‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬, For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬, For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬, And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬, But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬, Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:4-6‬ ‭ Hebrews‬ ‭10:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬, For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:31-46‬ ‭KJV‬‬ www.bible.com/1/mat.25.31-46.kjv “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” ‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:22-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬ www.bible.com/1/jud.1.22-25.kjv “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭3:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ www.bible.com/1/tit.3.5-7.kjv Salvation prayer If The Holy Spirit is convicting you to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour of your life, repeat this prayer with your mouth and believe it in your heart. Dear Father, I come to You today, in reverence before You. I recognize that Jesus Christ is Your Only Begotten Son. I know that He died on a cross and He payed the penalty for the sins that I commited. I well deserve punishment. I know that He came back to life and is alive forevermore. I ask You Lord to come into my heart. Lord Jesus, search me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit to teach me things and to tell me what’s right and wrong. Jesus, You are my Lord and my Saviour, all the days of my life. You are The One True God, and forever You will reign! Father, I repent of my sins. Help me to turn away from them. Renew my mind and renew my heart. I want to serve you all the days of my life and I put away any other god. Jesus, you are the way the truth and the life. In Jesus’s name I ask all this, amen. Friends, you have now become a Believer!!! Follow Jesus with a sincere heart. Give him all the love he deserves. Jesus wants a relationship with you. “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:13-19kjv It’s not just about saying a prayer, it’s feeling a deep conviction for sin. You can’t use the free grace that Jesus has given you as a license to sin. ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? The angels in Heaven are rejoicing with you!!! Live a life pleasing unto The Lord. Read The Bible, and God will tell you what to do. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Jesus Christ is coming soon, my brothers and sisters! The rapture will happen soon, be prepared!

I am amazed at how many people actually thank me for telling them the Gospel message, the bad news, then the good news. Many say they have never heard this before. I have always expected people to get angry at me or to start arguing with me, but that actually only happens occasionally. In heaven, it will be realized how many were touched by the Gospel message. We will never all of those know who responded to this message until we are on the other side.

I came here from a different video and OH MY GOSH I DID NOT EXPECT THIS. I’ve been a Christian basically my whole life, and though I haven’t seen this video before, I saw the COMIC version of this. Where was Jesus' body at the resurrection day? Why didn't other people expose Him then, especially since He stirred up the city so much? Why did eyewitnesses who knew it was a lie went ahead and died for it? And being at it, can you prove with science how the world supposedly come to existence out of nothing and spontaneously created matter and everything that is in it?

@@i7110 I would suggest you watch, "The Atheist Delusion," (available from the Living Waters KZbin channel free) the movie called, "The Case For Christ" (or read the book by the same name) and do some research. But for now, let me ask you some questions. Why would Jesus' followers believe a lie, and dye for it? That makes no sense. Maybe...it wasn't a lye? Maybe it was true? Do some research. Most historians agree that Jesus did exist. He died, and he rose again, and ascended to Heaven. What "other people"? Read the 4 gospels, and get back to me on that. Jesus was God, and chose to die. The Pharisees and Sadducees wanted to expose Jesus, but they could not deny the miracles he did. He rose people from the dead, healed the sick, the blind, deaf, cast out devils, etc etc etc. He was GOD! I suggest you do your research before making judgements. And yes, I've done my research.

I think a lot of people misunderstand Ray Comfort and his approach. Check out Hell's Best Kept Secret. Plus I recommend Rea Blash videos on GospelResurrection.org He has a video about evangelism. And lots of other videos about grace. The thing is, the law's purpose (School master) is to show people they have broken God's laws and need a Savior so they don't remain self righteous (Like Pharisees/Sadducees, or the Hebrew Israelites who were ignoring Vekl and Gman who were asking them if they ever sinned). Your identity shouldn't be who you are and what you do. It should be in what Jesus did for us on the cross to make us a new person through him! 2 Corinthians 5:17 A new identity in Christ. Rea says a righteous person who tells a lie is not a liar, they are a new creation in Christ, they are the righteousness of God in Christ. The purpose of Ray using the law, is so that people can realize they aren't as good as they think themselves to be and that they need a Savior, and a new identity.

We're talking about sin here, or in your example of stealing a ballon, a crime. The examples you've listed prior are not sins/crimes, that's not in breach of the ten commandments. They can't be directly compared with sin/crime, because they've different notions from sin/crime which are morally wrong. By law, if you stole a ballon, indeed you have committed a crime, regardless of have you been caught, by the definition of law you're a thief and rightly so. God's moral standard is far higher than earthly laws. God sees all our actions and thoughts, He sees each and every sin we commit.

Following some laws set out by a bunch of old men 2000 or so years ago is VERY, VERY different from being a good person. Being a good person is about doing what's right - without witness, without hope and without reward. I am atheist and I could probably only name a couple of the Ten Commandments off the top of my head, but I like to think I'm a good person and I'm sure a lot of people would back me up on that (hopefully). It doesn't matter what religion you are or who you worship or what race you are or what gender you're attracted to - all that matters is that you always try to nice, but never, NEVER, fail to be kind.
@LivingWaters

You talk a lot about being "good" but never said what your standard was. What is your standard of morality, who gets to define it, and why does it matter?
@seastilton7912
@seastilton7912 5 жыл бұрын
Living Waters Nobody defines good. Everyone has beliefs, opinions, morales. As for a standard of morality, there are unquestionably evil and unquestionably good acts, like murder or self-sacrifice. But the line itself is blurred. Different people agree on different things. What is right for one may be wrong to another, and so on. We all, surely, must have a deeper understanding of what truly is right, however. And, ultimately, why does it matter? Because, in practicality, it doesn't. Live your life as a selfish, evil brute and your life will be no different. It might actually bring YOU more of whatever you desire. There is no real reason to be good. It is not an effective survival strategy. But you don't need a reason to do the right thing. You don't need a reason to do the right thing. You do it simply because it's kind, and it's right. You don't need anyone's validation to know that actions you take are good enough. You just have to know, deep down, that it is what is right. Maybe there is a God. Maybe you're right. If there is, it shouldn't matter whether or not we believe in a higher being that can define good - all that should matter is that we always strive for what is truly good.

@@seastilton7912 Do you not see the contradictions in your statements? You say "Nobody defines good" then proceed to make statements that necessitate there be a definition of it. //there are unquestionably evil and unquestionably good acts// //You do it simply because it's kind, and it's right.// //all that should matter is that we always strive for what is truly good.// If good can't be defined by an individual, how do you expect that individual to "strive" for it? //We all, surely, must have a deeper understanding of what truly is right,// On this we agree. It's called your (God-given) conscience -- "Con" means "with" and science means "knowledge". This means that when we lie, steal, fornicate, murder etc, we do so with the built-in knowledge that it's wrong. It's why basic morality is virtually the same across all societies in history despite being completely separated from each other up until the last few hundred years. The reason why you contradict yourself is because your worldview (atheism) doesn't all for an absolute standard, yet the reality you see proves otherwise. Essentially, good and evil can only exist if there's a God and since they do exist, we need to know what He expects of us.
@seastilton7912
@seastilton7912 5 жыл бұрын
Living Waters There are plenty of reasons why we might have a built in sense of good and evil without need for a divine being, like that it might be an evolutionary trait necessitated by the social nature of our species - sort of like pain, it helps us to not be self-destructive. What I meant by 'nobody defines good' is that the line of what is good can be blurred, and it is up to you to do what you would view as truly good, like in the trolley dilemma (a hurtling train will either kill five people or two, but you have to throw the switch to kill the two). People disagree on what the right course of action is. You should do what YOU truly, deep down, believe to be right.

@@jesussavessinners9980 I like how the video starts with an attempt to be scientific yet jumps to the logical conclusion in the end that it is logical to believe god exists. The requirment of a prime mover does not indicate who that prime mover is, how it came to exist as in what was it's prime mover and so forth. The most logical position to hold as with a lot of things about the universe is that we or I don't know. We can speculate, reason and assume, but it will all be conjecture without evidence and a lack of other logical explanations does not make the existence of a god any more logical. Let alone one of the religious gods that actually cares about our little speck in the galaxy. Haylie C A good person tries to do right by others as they would have done onto themselves. Emphasis on the tries since we are all human so perfection is a pipe dream. Still it's something to strive for if nothing else which is always a good motivator to not give up trying. The Bible tells us the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding". - Proverbs 9:10. We are all sinners and none of us can get to Heaven on our own, "goodness", as we have all broken God's law in the Ten Commandments, as you noted. This is why Jesus came, to pay the price, take the punishment for the sins of the world. You and I, along with every person in the world, He died for so we could go to Heaven. A simple lapse in judgment, saying even the most trivial lie, "Ah, your dress isn't that bad, sweetie," will be enough to land you in the fire slammer of hell for the rest of eternity. Being attracted to how someone looks (if you're married) is enough to land you in the fire slammer. Stealing as a kid: it truly isn't right, but your punishment for it will last FOREVER, not even mentioning the fact that as kids, most people have questionable control over their actions. Oh, and simply saying God is pretty bad so don't do that. God is a righteous judge who hates sin, so obviously torturing you forever is acceptable. The narrator then goes on, however, to discredit this statement by saying that believing in God (or "following Jesus") will give you the eternal afterlife -- so what is it? Is living a life free of sin the important part, or is it believing in God the important part?

This video is correct, however, it doesn’t seem to grasp the fact of “forgiving”. Nobody in this world is perfect, nobody is perfect in any way. If you genuinely feel ashamed for something, you ask for forgiveness. It’s the same case here, if you truly repent for your sins, just pray and ask for forgiveness. However, you must feel genuinely sorry. When you where a child and you messed up, you most likely asked forgiveness for whoever you did wrong too. You would most likely learned from that mistake. It’s the same here. It’s not just asking forgiveness, but also learning from those mistakes and avoid them, some habits may take longer to break than others. And remember, asking for forgiveness does not mean you will go off free, like as a young child, you will be most likely punished from your actions, for example on a more extreme way, if you feel sorry for stealing, you would still have to do community service. Remember, nobody is perfect and we all sin in some way or another, so don’t be ashamed to pray to God! :)

No seriously , if a Person who doesn't believe in God , where does bad and good come from, how can an atheist think morals are subjective ?? "Society taught us through evolution , sure yes, but how did the first person know doing something wasas bad??? If there's a Good than there has to be An moral giver that is objectively good. Morals aren't subjective because if they were we would be all over the place, some would argue eating ice cream is bad and some would argue killing is good.

@@dove6069 Morals ARE subjective, though, and we ARE all over the place. Humanity has always been that way. And for your examples, here are those that believe that eating ice cream is bad because it's wrong to take milk from cows, and there are those who argue killing is good, justifying things like wars, and executions. People make their own morals. Whether it's from things they were taught or their own experiences, ultimately everyone forms their own versions of right and wrong.

I feel like religion is for those who don't feel strong enough to be a decent human out of their own accords. And also that it's highly abused by people doing somewhat bad things to feel less guilty, and convince themselves they're better than they may actually be.

Jesus isn't a religion. Jesus is God and you need a relationship with him if you even want to set foot in Heaven. Not all religious people will make it to Heaven. The bible says, there will be those who say on judgment day Lord, Lord have we not done this and that for you, but he will say "I do not know you, depart from me ye workers of inquity." Read Matthew 7:22-7:23.

@@soldierofchristnews5090 Jesus is my uncle and godfather, I never called Jesus a religion. I was talking on a general sense of all religions and making an intuitive observation. The only thing I need is for people to step aside so I can enjoy my constitutional rights to practice my freedom of religion and beliefs. I'm pretty sure if you look in your manuscript you might find some clause that will tell you it's a sin to falsely advertise and front things without a guarantee of anything in return. I am the God of my life and Heaven is my enjoyment resultant of my life's work. My book of Thermodynamics states that Isentropic and Adiabatic conditions are merely nominal ideal states at which to compare other aspects of a system, similar to your religion. It can be inferred that similarly irreversibilities must be true and that entropy exists in merely any process in life.
