I'm a web designer but heading towards a digital marketer but not keen to focus on all digital marketing. Social media I am not interested in nor am I interested in content copywriting

Agreed! I think most people don’t enjoy all aspects. I definitely prefer to bring in someone who does enjoy it so we get better results and I’m not drained doing something I don’t enjoy.

I started as a web designer in 2017. It didn't take me long to realize that after building a site, I still need to drive traffic to it. So, unconsciously I started learning how to drive traffic via social media marketing etc. Fast forward to 2021....I now do more of digital marketing than web designing Generally, I don't think you can go far as a digital marketer without any form of digital marketing skill
