Readable MD Transcript: (check replies because character limit) Welcome to today's video where we'll be discussing the INTJ archetype, also known as the Ranger. INTJ Personality Traits --------------------------- INTJs are passionate, talented types who are capable of mastering any skill. They see their entire life as a performance, often fearing the spotlight is always on them. INTJs take the ideas of other people and refine them until they are perfect. They balance being the most independent of all the types with having gratitude for the people who have helped them get to their position in life. Examples of Famous INTJs --------------------------- Some examples of famous INTJs include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Beyoncé, Madonna, Magnus Carlsen, Scarlett Johansson, and Tiger Woods. INTJ Communication Style --------------------------- INTJs are one of the four Finisher types, meaning that their communication style is direct, responding, and progressive. They are direct on all sides of their mind, besides their ego, which is informative. Additionally, their desire to not always be taken at their word, coupled with their quick speaking voice, makes INTJs the most half-and-half of all the types when it comes to direct versus informative. INTJ Preferences ------------------- INTJs prefer to choose their role in a conversation, and they much prefer to be approached by others with information, as it eases their inferior performance anxiety. They can be so afraid of initiating that they don't even get out of the house. INTJs are triple progression in fact, so they are one of the quickest types. They have an all-in, full steam ahead mentality where they stop at nothing to arrive at their goals. Once they get going, they do not mind being in a rush, often preferring to wait until the last minute to complete a task. INTJ Temperament ------------------- INTJs are part of the Intellectual temperament, also known as the NT temperament, meaning that they are abstract, pragmatic, and systematic. They are at high risk of having too much hope, such that they fail to actually realize their dreams. They're so passionate and driven, but they need to balance that with concrete evidence of their abilities, or else they become fake. INTJs are the most independent of all the types. They impose their own belief systems on others, often disregarding that others may care about doing the right thing. They often find themselves unaccepted by society at large, resulting in them forming their own inner circle instead of belonging to a larger group. They're systematic, and INTJs are looking for best practices to apply to all facets of life. They like to streamline processes because it prevents them from stagnating. Their relentless pursuit of efficiency may come off to others as uncaring when it is applied to human interaction, but that is showing care from an INTJ perspective. INTJ Cognitive Functions --------------------------- Hero (Introverted Intuition): The Hero has the ability to will its way through any situation. INTJs consider their future before their past, often getting tunnel vision, and have the hardest time letting go once they've decided they want something. They're stubborn about releasing it from their grasp, which applies to relationships as well, where INTJs are at risk of being possessive of their partners and struggle to move on after a breakup. INTJs are chiefly aware of their own options and exercise their freedom because they impulsively know what they want almost all of the time. INTJs develop an Hero by taking risks for the sake of constant improvement, and having too much hope for their own future can cause them to procrastinate. Parent (Extraverted Thinking): The Parent is responsible with rationale because it is skeptical of the credibility of data sources. Without the Parent to keep them in check, INTJs would be gullible to following institutions that use statistics to push an agenda. INTJs can pursue data very quickly, which enables them to pick up new skills in a brief amount of time. They find themselves becoming experts before having the credentials, which would make them look trustworthy, so they chase titles to make sure people listen to them. Their reputation is very important to them. INTJs are considered to be some of the shallowest people for the facade that they put up. Child (Introverted Feeling): The Child is very innocent about its moral compass and is the purest form of good. INTJs are capable of being good people without needing the emotional reactions of others to inspire them. An INTJ who takes their Child too far has a superiority complex where they believe they are entitled to things without having to show gratitude in return. In this case, they see themselves as the ultimate judge of good and bad, where nobody else gets to say. Quality of life is very important to INTJs, and they bring this to Fe users in their lives who do not have the sense of self-worth to get it for themselves. Inferior (Extraverted Sensing): INTJs are afraid of abandonment. They may push others away to test if they will remain loyal, but it is more likely that they will not push people at all out of fear that they will lose faith. INTJs try to trade performance for loyalty and seek to give other people the best experiences so they will want to stick around. Sometimes they fail to state this as an expectation, thus forming a covert contract. INTJs are the most talented people on the planet, and nobody can outcompete an INTJ when they humble themselves and aspire to perform for their own satisfaction. They have the capacity to master any skill and do it the quickest, but the downside is they forget those skills if they do not continue to practice them. Nemesis (Extraverted Intuition): INTJs worry about other people's intentions and are the most paranoid of all the types as they often consider that other people might be looking to backstab. They would usually be better off giving people their trust in the first place. INTJs are the epitome of Murphy's Law, and they project their own willpower onto other people and cause their own fears to enter reality by observing undesirable possibilities. Ne Nemesis is what challenges the INTJ to never give up, and they need to be certain they have a future even if other people get in the way. Critic (Introverted Thinking): Ti Critic causes INTJs to doubt what they know, and they often work tirelessly to prove or disprove things. They're the biggest overthinkers of all the types, and this is one of the reasons they struggle to fall asleep at night. This problem can be alleviated by a conversation with Ti users. INTJs want to solve problems more than any other Fi-Te user, and they have the potential to possess mastery over thinking, which gets directed toward innovative or intellectual pursuits. The knowledge of an INTJ decays over time without consistent challenge, though they are at a high risk of assuming things to be true without verifying. Trickster (Extraverted Feeling): The Trickster is the one thing INTJs really struggle with is to master social skills. Fe trickster, coupled with triple pragmatism, makes INTJs socially inept from their perspective. Anything could be ethical in order to save them from making social faux pas, and they need to be briefed on any event before it happens since this is not realistic. The best solution for them is to create a system of how people react whenever they do inevitably break social rules, otherwise they will forget and repeat the same mistakes. INTJs often use humor to make people feel good, which is generally an effective shortcut, but they might want to consider that this is not always appropriate. Demon (Introverted Sensing): The Demon is a rejection of an INTJ's needs. INTJs do not care about what they should do and often pay a price for it. Their lack of consistency in life causes a poor sleep schedule and makes it almost impossible for them to maintain as much long-term memory as the other types. INTJs do not have faith in much of anything, and they might betray loyal people in reaction to one event where their trust was broken. Their Nemesis and Ti critic might even assume this is happening in an act of paranoia when it is in fact not happening. If you obligate an INTJ, they will hate you. It is much more effective to use a Xanatos Gambit to convince them to do things they should do, and do not make them remember past trauma either unless you are okay with becoming part of it.

INTJ Ego ------------------------- With respect to the four sides of the mind, the INTJ has: ESFP Subconscious: reveals the INTJ's path to happiness ENTP Unconscious, also known as The Shadow: reveals the INTJ's path to wisdom ISFJ Super Ego: reveals the INTJ's path to love A closer look at the INTJ ego reveals the INTJ's path to responsibility and maturity. The biggest source of our maturity comes from our parent function. Without Te Parent, an INTJ will only concern themselves with what they want and how they feel. A healthy consideration of what other people think keeps an INTJ respectable and pushing toward meaningful goals. ESFP Subconscious reveals the INTJ's path to happiness. When we break through the fear of our inferior, it becomes aspirational, and we become strong and capable, where we were previously weak and afraid. For INTJs, this means accepting their flaws. A developed ESFP subconscious is confident that it can practice skills for its own joy instead of seeking to force people to stick around. INTJs become the best performers when they seek to be better instead of seeking to be perfect. People are often loyal to INTJs without them even knowing it. Se Aspirational makes people feel so safe that they would sacrifice everything to protect INTJs. ENTP Unconscious reveals the INTJ's path to wisdom. INTJs embrace the depth of metaphysics when they use their ENTP Shadow. They become less shallow by pursuing truth and meaning. When being the center of attention is not practical, if they develop Ti Critic, they will verify everything they know. This will make people gravitate towards them for their problem-solving abilities. ISFJ Super Ego reveals the INTJ's path to love. The ISFJ Super Ego, led by Si Demon, is not comfortable in its own skin. Over time, INTJs begin to understand how much suffering they can endure. They cease to avoid struggle and use hard work to support those who have helped them on their journey. The ISFJ Super Ego, in its Angelic form, is about using sacrifice to make the most meaningful contributions to affiliates. The Fe Master of the INTJ can provide the strongest code of conduct for humanity, and the Si Angel adopts traditions for everyone to follow. INTJs can put up a front of utter greatness, but their flaws run deep. Consistent practice turns them into a spectacle for the world to watch in awe. INTJs struggle with relationships more than any other type. Give them the space to fail, and accept that their good intentions might not always translate into real-time effort. They will eventually shed their skin. Some tiny parts may be written differently so the transcript may not be perfect, but i did my best. - Thanks for reading.

But the ones that I've met in my life, and one that was close to me, ended up leaving because they concluded something without fully understanding a situation. INTJ was the very first result I got while taking a personality test but only because I cheated. I had read that they were the most unique type, so I skewed the answers in order to get that result, but it turns out that I misread it and it was actually INFJ who was apparently the most unique type when I took the test. I find this funny because having a plan, taking steps to achieve that thing, and not being very detail oriented is kind of an INTJ thing. I'm not an INTJ, I'm an Ne-Si user but yeah.

Well claims like "INTJ" learns 3x faster doesn't follow as intelligence is 80-90% genetic and it doesn't seem coherent that just because someone has personality 'x' they rolled 'y' intelligence or higher though I guess it could be correlated? Not sure. I must admit this video described me 95% accurately.@@nooneneedstoknowmyname
@nooneneedstoknowmyname Жыл бұрын
@@Apistevist That's a funny claim. Is intelligence really 80-90% genetic? Well, maybe parents and I all dropped out during high school, we all god/had problems with using substances, so maybe there is some truth to that. Though, I have a good reason for dropping out of school, I have no plans to go to college, I learn more outside of school than in it, and I really don't feel like it's important to my life, so I decided to stop wasting time doing things that I didn't want to do and that seemed pointless to me. I wasn't doing poorly academic wise, I had never gotten below a B, but I was so over it all. Doing the same thing, day in and day out, dealing with annoying people who won't leave me alone, now I do the same thing day in and day out, and I still deal with annoying people who won't leave me alone, but at least it's under my own terms and not someone else's. Though, I think there are many different types of intelligence and you can be extremely intelligent one way, and extremely unintelligent another way. Like me for example: I have the memory intelligence to memorize the whole periodic table, but I don't have the kinetic intelligence to do things like open child proof lids, my brain doesn't work with my body. I also lack in artistic and social intelligence, but I'm good at recognizing and avoiding any sorts of dangers, which I find to be pretty intelligent. Do you and your parents have similar intelligence levels?
@Apistevist Жыл бұрын
My claim is based on decades of research and is widely accepted among experts in related fields. Despite the fact it's uncomfortable all evidence supports it. We're just talking animals cursed with the knowledge our time is limited, if intelligence didn't vary between individuals our intelligence would've never been naturally selected for by nature to get us to where we are today. You can do plenty of reading on the heritability of intelligence, start with the Twins studies. Edit: Intelligence is not knowledge, this is a common false assumption people make who've never bothered to ask such questions. It has absolutely nothing to do with education. Example: If Einstein was born in 800BC he would've still been the same genius but never had been able to acquire the same knowledge he did in the 20th century as the total Human knowledge pool was significantly lower then.@@nooneneedstoknowmyname

@Muffln Жыл бұрын
@@myshadow3074 I know you probably don't care at all, but if you want an even more accurate system that is much more objective, I'd recommend Objective Personality. It's a channel on KZbin and it is a system created by a couple who started understanding that they could use personality types to help with marketing to certain types. Also, not saying the results are wrong or anything, but tests are definitely not the way to go. You either type yourself, or have a one on one conversation with an expert to type you. If you do learn about Objective Personality, definitely start off with learning the coins, so Observers and Deciders for example.
@Muffln Жыл бұрын
@@myshadow3074I also mention all this because this channel is one of those "You like to do this/aspire to do this therefore you are this type!", and it also types people like Tiger Woods and Arnold as INTJs. What we want doesn't matter, it's what we actually do, and this channel is sort of misleading in that aspect.
@Muffln Жыл бұрын
@@myshadow3074Sorry for another reply, but basically what I am trying to say is that this channel is one of those channels that basically just says vague things that everyone does every now and then about certain types, and after a while I've learned that these channels aren't necessarily as accurate nor do they dwindle down the options. I bet that I could click a video this channel has made about ISFPs and say "Hey, I relate to those things sometimes, this is probably me." and anyone of any type can do this. I wanted to clarify this because I don't want to come off as overly argumentative towards this channel, hopefully you get what I mean. EDIT: INTJs are also not the most independent, that award goes would generally go to the ExxPs (when they aren't jumpers). This is because, when they aren't jumper types, they have higher Di than De. The reason ExxPs are probably more independent than IxxPs is because that demon De that IxxPs have can completely reverse their general individualistic decision making, so when in a demon state they become more needy than ExxPs. INTJs are also not less skeptical of statistics due to Te, they will actually be MORE likely to take in statistics as fact without being as skeptical because of it. Di (Ti or Fi) is going to be more skeptical of statistics, as it uses it's own logic or values to make decisions rather than statistics or other people's logic and values. When he was describing demon Se, he wasn't being very coherent about it. An INTJs demon Se causes them to overlook facts and reality for their own personal organized view, which is their Ni. Facts will often feel exhausting to look at for an INTJ (masculine Se will help though), and INTJs often feel great just going into their own Ni view of things instead of looking at reality. For this reason, INTJs aren't always the genius masterminds they seem to be, it's so easy for them to just disregard the reality as it is in the current moment and continue on a linear Ni path. INTJs are definitely not the most paranoid of other's intentions, so that is a complete lie. The award for most paranoid (of people) goes to the ExxJs and the IxxPs, this is because they are deciders and they are much more likely to have people issues and feel very stuck and nervous about people (due to their imbalanced decision making). IxxJs are going to be more paranoid of chaos, whenever you see people talking about the end of the world it is likely they are an observer instead of a decider. INTJs are also not the biggest overthinkers, they can easily use Te to just look at what the statistics are saying and make simple, straightforward decisions based off of it. IxxPs, especially IxTPs are going to be the biggest overthinkers, because their Ti can self doubt all the time (especially if it's feminine Ti). Ti is a function based on it's own logic, not other people's logic or statistics, therefore it will easily overthink because IxTPs are prone to doubting their own logic (Ti) in a "demon state". An INTJ being very bad with people is basically a myth at this point, due to them having Te, (tribe above self), and also being an observer instead of a decider, means that they don't actually struggle all that much with people, their biggest struggle is going to be with chaos, change, and things they can't control in general. IxxJs can be just as good, if not better than ExxPs at conversating, and both of these types can actually easily be better than the ExxJs and IxxPs (the deciders) in social situations. INTJs generally don't struggle in relationships more than any other type, again, because they are observers, not deciders. An INTJ will be much, much better at making balanced decisions than a decider (ExxJ or IxxP). You notice a pattern? He keeps explaining how INTJs are the most ____ type, when it is untrue 95% of the time, a lot of the time he is just describing decider and IxxP traits. This is my biggest problem with videos like this, he doesn't get everything wrong, but he doesn't get much right either, and there's a lot of moments when it's basically just completely wrong. I think the reason he says "INTJs are the most _____ type." is so that the INTJs, or people who think they are INTJs, feel better about their type instead of being ashamed, which is what an INTJ would actually feel if he was describing it more accurately. I'll probably comment my critiques on the actual video too, but I just wanted to make sure you get why I prefer Objective Personality instead of me just seeming like someone sent to promote their entire being to get paid.

@@EgoHackers they also say INTJ are the chameleons. So are INTJ when and if needed. I can act like I give a sh💩t about someone and console with them, but it isn't going to be effective. Giving them ideas to fix their problems is what's going to make those tears go away, unless someone died or something. I can decide to carefully plan out how I am going to say something to someone and sugar coat it, but then I'm not being honest to myself. If a girl says "do these jeans make my butt look big?" I have 2 choices, tell the truth and say "no cause your butt is small and flat you have no butt" or lie and sugar coat it saying either "yes they do" cause they want to hear they have a butt or "no they fit just perfectly" which would also be a lie. It would take extra time and effort for me to come up with an answer without lying. Being blunt is in our nature, like auto response. I'm not going to lie, sugarcoat things, if it's hard news to deliver feel free to let me send the final blowing punch. I'd rather have a hard truth then lots of lies and untrustworthy people faking things to and around me. Cause those who fake and lie and sugar coat things to prevent you from feeling bad are not your real friends that's just messed up bullshit. This video must not have been made by a REAL INTJ or person who really understands INTJ and the MBTI type INTJ personality. It's okay we are very hard to understand. @zile8869 Жыл бұрын
He's not gonna make a video on it. ENTPs and INTJs are very different from one another. 1st example: -The ENTP is constantly trying to get others to value/feel good about them, so they will do things to help others in order to get them to value the ENTP more. They will also be quite self deprecating. -the INTJ doesnt give a damn who values them, they only care that others think things about them that they themselves value! As a result, INTJs generally dont go out of their ways to get others to value them. They will often call themselves "the best" or make use of, not-so-humble humour, because the only person who they need to value themselves, is themselves! (That's Fi child at play) 2nd Example: -ENTPs dont pay too much attention to how they look, or to the attention they may or may not attract. They will be dressed in the plainest of clothes, often black, and will generally walk around in whatever feels comfortable. -INTJs make a conscious effort to at least try and not look bad. They are insecure about how they look, so they usually try not to look like they are trying to hard to look good, as this would attract more attention to them when they fail. But non the less they do try and make sure they look presentable. Combine their Se inferior with Te parent, and then they can sometimes dress quite formally, since they are trying to seem somewhat serious or important.

@zile8869 I can get your point but how about an ENTP who found himself in an environment that values tradition over creativity, then somehow decided to be alone then tag with stupid people (they called the introverted extroverts for a reason) versus an intj who masters communication skills to aid him in his work (they can acquire skills in many domains if they deemed helpful ) can you apply your behavioral approach in such cases ?
@zile8869 Жыл бұрын
@@aimenechikhi8553 Dont get confused with what I'm saying. ENTPs often spend time alone rather than with groups, because they don't feel comfortable around just anyone. INTJs love it when they get positive public attention as well. This does not make them introverted extroverts or extroverted introverts tho! The difference is, ENTPs want people, whether groups, or just individuals they are close to, to VALUE them. This means these people feel that they are important to them. They care about the ENTP. INTJs on the other hand, want people to THINK HIGHLY of them. This means people think that they are (for example) capable. And if they like being capable then this makes the INTJ happy. The INTJ doesn't need people to care about him. He needs them to respect him, irregardless of whether they value/care about him or not. That's the difference. Don't look at how outgoing they are or how confident they are around other people. Instead look at what they are trying to get out of their relationships with other people.

@@aimenechikhi8553 capability was just an example. Don't think to much about the specific examples. Both entps and intjs want to be capable. That's not the point I'm making. What I'm saying is their reasons are different! So when trying yo determine your own type, look at your reasons for doing what you do! What exactly are you looking to get out of it?

Beyonce is obviously a heart temple wayfarer (intj or esfp). She is also Se inferior, it took here 30 year to overcome her Se-fear. She look like an ESFP when she is performing but she isn't.

Why You mistake types? I know Intj & Entp zoning out to eachother fully or partially...but comm'on... really... You mess up. 1. Intj don't like any touch..., masters skills, want improve world, focuse on future. 2. Entp like hugging touch..., innovate & discovers, like the attention, focus on now. Don't mistake Ni - Te with Ti - Ne... Also don't mistake P with Te.. & don't mistake I with E we are both Ambiverts or Ombiverts. Also we can be in modes in diffrent moods or editing (Intj) it or suit it (Entp)... We are Tony Stark (Entp) & Dr.Strange (Intj) We also have something mutual with art so Isfp or Esfp..for Entp..zoning is to Isfj, Esfp,Intj, Infj... For Intj is Entp, Isfp, Esfj, Enfj. But most often It's Intj,Isfj for Entp & Entp,Isfp for Intj. It's complicated. But generally You can see which are is which & still.. Mainly we are individuals. But still we are Intj - Entp a best match & complicated. How can You all mistake us... - Intj.. Maybe.... Because we are actually rare... I'm Intj Individual & I'm zoning out a bit to entp, enfj & isfp...I develop myself. Actually my friends also where those types. But closest where Entp. Entp also like to being adored while Intj valued. Entp is workaholic is working too hard if zoning to Intj & still he is prospecting in free time You never know which day he will visit. It's disturbing...but can deal with it... Often I found out Entps & Intjs like play violin or piano...Entps are more into piano... while Intj are more into Violin. Sometimes it exchange. Intj is editing itself if it comes to other chracteristics/skills Entp is suit itself if I about other characteristics/skills. Actually we are pretty complicated. 4 sake... Stop mistakes us. Entp is 2-5% population While Intj is only 1-2%. We are pretty individual, exception as Intjs because we are all about it. & also we all percive everything As Infinite, Exceptions, structures... Etc. We are also more Spiritual & Study Physics... & making art.

This is a different system from MBTI. They use the same letters but the definition of the cognitive functions is different. There is a video that explains this on the channel.

@@Vector12345t Still sounds like mix of Entp-Intj or Intj-Entp so maybe describe zoning mbtis...This "Intj" look like Entp zoning out to Esfp or Intj.. Or as I describe it Atomic personality like Entp-Esfp-Intj. I had also Friend Entp-Isfj... & Entp-Itnj. I'm actually Intj-Isfp-Entp. Described as Intj Individual Assertive on 16p. Site. Very accurate. I'm looking on functions mbti, ennagrams, letters mbti, 5 types etc. Lot things & analyse & Try to understand. Best regards.
