Dear Edgaras, Hello My name is Wasim khan from India & I am glad to inform you that I am following you on 'KZbin Spoken about Lithuanian channel' & I am also your Subscriber, but unfortunately now I am in United Arab Emirates Dubai now I'm trying to visit Lithuanian country for a job. It is my observation that you guide people with proper manners. I think your act of kindness is appreciable. You are very hard working oftenly people admire your behaviour and way of talking. I watch all your videos and wait for the next one. I like your clips. So, I request you to please send me a Lithuanian verb grammar lesson book for learning Lithuanian language basics.

Already done (we Czechs use circa 30% of your modified characters), but since I like watching your videos, I will support your content either way.

Thanks for lesson. I was wondering why lithuanian alphabet doesn't have "ļ" "ņ" letters apart from latvian. Now with "I" softener you get them. Interesting.

Ačiū ❤ I read that Lithuanian is one of the oldest languages still in use, that it uses many rules and pronunciations established in Proto-Indo-European languages. That's so cool.

UTENA!! My family live there and our ‘village’ is in Tauragnai, I was wondering about the difference in dialect and how different regions speak quite differently from each other, I.e Aukstaiciu and zemaiciu

hi Edgaras, just wanted to inform you, about the audio book. in the PDF, phrases 52-57 are repeats and in the audio recording they are something else entirely. it would be a lot easier for others, if they didn't have to go and search for the written form. hope its still fixable :)

"i" in "Lie" doesn't work as a softener because "e" is already soft so "L" in "Lie" is pronounced the same way as "L" in "Le". "i" in "Lie" is a part of a diphthong "ie". "i" as a softener can work just before the hard vowels: a, ą, o, u, ų and ū. It doesn't work as a softener before e, ę, ė and y, and is actually never used before ę, ė and y. Also, "opera" and "bosas" weren't good examples for the Lithuanian "o" sound. Those are international words so this "o" sound is pronounced shorter while "o" in native Lithuanian words is always long. "lova" is a good example of the Lithuanian "o" sound.
