Just a little info. The plant you see at the rear of the building with connecting ductwork is are filtration systems. The ducts over the roof will connect to extraction hoods, canopies etc collecting fumes from the melting of the aluminium scrap etc. The filters look to me like the continuous cleaning reverse jet pulse type. The collection bags below will collect the aluminium oxide in the discharge air as a very fine powder. The access platform pet way up the chimney is to enable testing of the discharge air. I did a similar extraction system for BICC in the late 70’s for the collection of Cadmiun Oxide from furnaces. 👍
